I looked at goPiTravel.com

for US/IOA tickets and found two similar:

2 day/2 parks + 1 day free $92 adult

or

3 day/2 park hopper $105 adult

The first one appearantly only lets you go to one park in one day (not hop) and the tickets expire in 7 days.

I don't plan to keep left over tickets so the 7 day expiration isn't a problem.

Should I go with the cheaper tickets? Will I regret no being able to hop?

Is there a better price out there somewhere?

Thanks,

Have you looked into the 5 day/2 park deal at Universal's web sight?? It's $90 per adult and $77 per child (ages 3 -9). You get to use both parks as much as you want for 5 consecutive days. You can park hop as often as you wish on any given day, but if you decide not to go on any particular day during the 5 day stint, you forfiet that day... So if you go on a Mon, and Tues, but skip Wed, the passes are only good for two remaining days, Thurs and Fri. We thought it was a phenomonal deal compared with the prices at Disney. Here's Universal's web site:

Or have you looked into the Annual Power Pass. It has some blackout days, but it's only 99.00, and it's good for 1 year.

wow! Thanks for the info-- I just purchased the 5 day pass from US direct. What a great price!
