One where all rooms are in the same building such as the Contemporary, where you don't have to go outside to get from your room to the front desk...

Or one where there are separate buildings that house the rooms, where you have to walk outside to get from your room to the front desk, like the Polynesian?

I like everything in one building - but I like Wl or BC better than the Cont.

but then I also love the Polyn.

I prefer everything in one buiding as well. I think it's just more convenient that way.

I prefert to be under one roof. It is more convinient for us especially when there's thunderstorm out there. I love WL...under one roof!

I prefer under one roof.

But I am prepared for the sacrifice of separate blds should I ever get to stay at Poly again. It will be hard--but someone has to stay there. :teeth:

Having everything under one building really makes the resort seem ..... I don't know.... all-inclusive, I guess. When we first stayed at the Contemporary I didn't even know there were other buildings (this was wayyyyyyyy back before I found Dis lol) and was quite disappointed. I really didn't even feel as though I was staying at the Contemporary. jmho

I guess it depends on room location. This past week, our room at AKL had a fantastic view; but it was a long, long walk from the main lobby and everything else. As well, the hallways were frigid. Oh, one more thing, we self-parked our car; so we had a LONG walk from the parking lot, too. On our last night, we stayed at CSR. Our room was in Casitas building 2. If it had rained, we could have stayed under cover to get to the restaurants, health club, etc. A quiet pool was right next to our room. We did have a longer walk to the main pool, but it was easy to catch a cart there. Our car was very close to our room. That's worst case scenerio in a deluxe and best in a moderate. Obviously, this would not be a deciding factor for me.
