Which type of bag do you use?

I used the Baggallini messenger back on our last trip. It was wonderful. It fit everything we needed with room to spare. I didn't have to take it off for rides--just move it around to the front. I got mine at a local store that specializes in bags, but I know they have them on ebags.com.

I love the messanger bags especially the teardrop shape ones. It fits really nice on your back and distributes the load a little nicer than a backpack. since we go in August there is always a chance of a late afternoon shower so it's large enough to fit my rain poncho, water and my small camera.

been looking for the teardrop-shaped sling bag for our Aug trip with little success. Target had one in the camping section but it was kind of big. Ebags has one (brand starts w/a "v"?) for $35, a little pricey I think. There'll be 4 of us & I'll be the pack mule but I don't think we'll take too much to the parks. Kids are older, no autograph books, really just sunscreen, 2 glass cases, camera, DD's brush & lipgloss (!), some purell, not much else. Any ideas?

Fannypack. One for each in the party

I have a messenger type bag with a long strap that I can cross across my body so my hands are free. It holds what I need to carry. I do not like to schlep a lot of stuff around the park with me though. I travel light.

I like the micro-fiber type bags like the ones Kippling makes. That maker makes all types of bags (back packs, messenger bags, fanny packs). They are lighter weight than book type back packs. They pack wonderfully because the look of them are kind of wrinkley to begin with and they are so thin (but durable). I usually bring a couple to somewhat match my outfits. I mix up the bag styles and colors, but usually use a messenger type bag because I like reaching into it easier than a backpack and I like that it holds more than a fanny pack. I'll use a fanny pack or backpack too on different days.
Did I mention I bring a large suitcase? :rotfl2:
Seriously, they aren't large to pack!

I bought my teardrop from Target a few months ago. It was in the luggage aisle, not in the camping section. Hope that helps! :sunny:

Well first of all I think it depends on the age of your child. If the child is young and still needs diapers and supplies, I would use a medium bag for that type of stuff and a small bag or wristlet to carry money and tickets and you could take that with you on every ride. If the child isn't young a small to medium bag to carry some snacks, money, cameras, tickets and anything else you might carry. I usually don't prefer backpacks because they could be a little bulky at times. But I seem to be one of the few....most people do like the backpack idea.
