Which TS should I pay for OOP?

Here is my list:

O'hana
Be Our Guest
Sci Fi
50's Prime Time
The Crystal Palace
Hoop Dee Doo
Whispering Canyon Café
1900 Park Fare
T Rex
Garden Grill (with Candlelight Processional)
Mama Melrose (with Fantasmic)
Tusker House (with Jungle Book Seating)

So as you can see I have 12 nights of TS credits and two of my items take 2 TS credits which means I have to pay OOP for two restaurants.

These are all dinners.

I think if my memory and previous trips serve, I think that Sci Fi and 50's would make the most financial sense.

***edit***I am traveling with the free dining and 6 "adults"

Any opinions?

Depends on "how" you eat and maximize your credits, and whether you got free DDP or are buying it. When we do DDP we always go for the "money" dishes ($$$) at every restaurant. If you do that, then a better value would be to pay OOP for one of the 2 TS credit restaurants, because they rarely are equal to double the cost of an average meal. If you got free dining and just simply want to keep your cash outlay down, then I agree with Sci Fi and 50s... or maybe even TRex if you're just getting something small. And if you just want BOG for the ambiance, maybe switch it to lunch (QS) and then pay out of pocket for dinner somewhere like Plaza that night.

What meal are you eating at Crystal Palace? If it's breakfast I would run some numbers and see if it would be cheaper 50's and Sci Fi. I would do the same with O'hana and 1900 Park Faire but only if it's breakfast.

OP stated they were all dinners.
I agree with PP, either pay for 1 2 Credit TS or Sci Fi and 50's

Sci Fi definitely, and then I'd say it's a toss up between 50s PT and T-Rex as to which would be cheaper. I know for us, we'd order an entree like the fried chicken at 50s PT, but would probably order a burger at T-Rex. I'd imagine the latter might be a few bucks cheaper. The difference is probably negligible.

I would pay out of pocket for one meal at the 2 credit meal. This should save you the most bang for your buck.

consider CP package and what half of it comes out to... depends on what meal you are doing GG. if breakfast then especially yes pay that OOP.

If you are not looking to maximize $$ necessarily I would pay HDDR OOP because you have a lot more flexibility on timing and seating categories. I fyou are doing late show anyway then forget it lol

Looks like you have six Disney adults on the plan. I'd do 3 DDP and 3 OOP at both Sci-Fi and 50s. That way you have 3 desserts to share between the 6 of you at each place. Just put the most expensive entrees on the plan. At 50s, you can probably share 3 of the sampler platters and feed all of you with some apps or one other entree.

There's a chart on...WDWprepschool maybe? that takes the average cost of meal at each TS restaurant and ranks them in order of which give you the best value per credit on the DDP.

I would pay for the Candlelight Processional or Hoop De Doo, whichever is cheaper, OOP as they are both 2 TS credits.

If you look at the prices of the Candlelight Processional meals, the price varies from the different restaurants. Some are cheaper than HDD last I checked.

Okay! I think I've found the answer with your help and some research.

It looks like the HDD is going to run us about 350.00. The Garden Grill with CP will be closely behind (based on last year's pricing).

I think it still makes the most sense to pay for Sci Fi which l, based on the menu, looks like it will run us about 150. We usually get the fried chicken at 50s so that will cost about the same. DH and I will possibly get the steak at TRex so that will be costly. Always trying to get the best bang for our big family!
