Which TS restaurant to add?

Ok, after a few days of rearranging this is what I have now...

Arrival on Sunday - Chef Mickey's (dinner)
AK Monday - Yak and Yeti (early lunch)
EP Tuesday - Akershus (early lunch)
HS Wedneday - Mama Melrose's (early lunch F! package)
MK Thursday - Liberty Tree (dinner)
MK Friday - Ohana (late dinner)
Depart on Saturday - Kona Cafe (breakfast, TONGA TOAST  , paid OOP)

It's still bothering me that I can't get Coral Reef in there for DH even though I hate seafood. Hmm...What to do, what to do...

O'Hana breakfast is AMAZING!!!
Via Napoli
50's Prime Time food is great and the atmosphere is great also

There were so many suggestions for Ohana that I just had to add it! I wanted to try it but then I discovered Tonga Toast and I wanted that more lol. Now, with some re-arranging, I can have both! :cool1:

Via Napoli looks delicious! I see so many people commenting about it on the boards here. If we add it on, we'd have to leave one park and go to another to eat. Which I'm not opposed to, but I'm trying to stay away from having to do that. But...I may have no other choice because there's just so much I want to try! I'm quite sure I could eat in Epcot all week! Is that normal?

50s Prime Time and Sci-Fi both originally caught my eye when I started planning a few weeks ago. I had 50s on my list but my husband said we should take it out since our oldest doesn't handle jokes well. She has this thing if she doesn't understand a joke she assumes that it was about her and she gets super upset and cries. :confused3 It's embarrassing. Then I thought Sci-Fi looked neat too until I saw a YouTube video of it and realized that the girls would likely be terrified of the old movie clips being played.

Yes, I'll admit it, I have wimpy children and it's so annoying!

Ahhhh, guess what! I fit in Coral Reef for DH! Am I a good wife or what?! I realized that all I needed to do was see if there was a TS restaurant that was relatively cheap. (Haha, cheap in Disney?! Who am I kidding?) I found that Yak and Yeti was only going to cost approximately $50 for us if paid OOP and that Coral Reef was going to be at least $70. So just like my Ohana vs. Kona decision, I decided to keep both by paying for the cheaper one OOP. DH just said last night "I wanna eat good while we're there." and that was the first time he has willingly participated in Disney-related conversation without his eyes glazing over so I feel like I should make him happy by throwing in that extra seafood meal just for him. He can have his fish and I can have my tonga toast and we will all be happy! Yay!

So now, thanks to you wonderful people and a little lightbulb going off in my head, this is our list...
Chef Mickeys
Yak and Yeti (OOP)
Akershus
Coral Reef
Mama Melrose's
Liberty Tree Tavern
Ohana
Kona (OOP)

Some of the restaurants take a little longer to add to the list (contracts and such have to be renegotiated). We did DDP when we were there in July and ate at Yak and Yeti. Absolutely, no doubt it'll be back on the list.

I highly recommend it!:)

I approve this message! We love Y&Y

Neither Dh nor myself really like seafood, but we LOVE Coral Reef! We went for the aquarium and loved the food too. He has gotten the steak both times and I tried the pork dish on our first trip and all our meals have been delish w/very good service. It is our only repeat restaurant meal for our upcoming visit, in fact. Dd(10) is scoping out the adult menu trying to decide if she wants mussels, scallops, lobster or some other yucky seafood dish! She's much more adventurous than I! I hope you all have a wonderful trip!:wave2:

Thank you! Reading this makes me feel so much better about adding it since I was really on the fence about it. I like knowing other non-seafood loving people did enjoy it. And I'm right there with you on the yucky seafood part! If it came out of the water I don't want anything to do with it lol.

Yay! Another good vote! I fell in love with their menu and knew I just had to eat there. Actually, I'm falling in love with all the menus! It's too bad we can't stay for 2 weeks and get to try more of the restaurants. But then I'd probably gain 30 pounds so maybe 1 week isn't so bad after all.

You can also get Tonga Toast by eating at Captain Cooks in the Poly.

Yeah, I heard that! But then I heard it doesn't come with the berry saucy stuff if you get it at Captain Cooks. :( Can anyone confirm or deny this?
