We're staying 8 nights and I (kind of accidentally) made 8 TS ADRs but 1 is CRT so it's a double. So with the following options, which one should I pay for OOP to maximize what the dining plan covers?

2/23 Tutto Italia (dinner)
2/24 Chef Mickey (dinner)
2/25 Hollywood & Vine (lunch)
2/26 Coral Reef (dinner)
2/27 Cape May Cafe (breakfast)
2/27 Portobello (dinner)
2/28 CRT (dinner)
3/1 Be our Guest (dinner)

Thanks!

We always pay for the character breakfast buffets out of pocket. Over the years we have decided that just isn't the best use of points. It is usually our least expensive meals of the trip.

I agree. Cape May breakfast. But you can always take a look at the Menus on allears.net and see what you think based on what you think your family would order.

Is Portabello on the list? I don't see Tutto Italia either.

Oh no!!! They were on the list this year and when I made the ADRs it said "Dining Plan Accepted" on those so I never looked to see if they made the cut for 2013. I guess, here is hoping they get added back. Otherwise, I guess I don't have to worry about which ones to pay for OOP.

The list will not be final until near the end of the year, but you should be fine. You'll want to make sure once the final list does come out, though.

For the adults, I suggest choosing two of the a la carte restaurants and have one adult use DDP and one pay OOP. Look at the menus and see if there is a cheaper entree one really would like to eat, but perhaps would go with the more expensive if trying to get value out of DDP. Then the OOP person gets the cheaper entree and maybe even an appetizer and the DDP gets their expensive entree and the dessert and you share all.

As for the kiddos, the a la carte are usually cheaper than any buffet for them. You definitely do NOT want to pay OOP for the kids at CRT.
