Which TPV Hotel Do You Recommend

Next summer we are returning from a cruise to Port Canaveral on July 3rd. My plan is to book a room with a TPV for the July 3rd fireworks (which are supposed to be the same as July 4th in MK) and possibly enjoy a character breakfast at either Chef Mickey's or 'Ohana on July 4th before we drive home. I'm not planning to purchase park tickets.

Which TPV would you recommend specifically for viewing the fireworks? I know CR is closer but Poly seems to have a more direct view. We have stayed at CR before but in a lake view room.

My other consideration would be to book a cheaper room (maybe POR) and do the Pirates & Pals Fireworks cruise to get my fireworks fix. Can anyone comment on whether the view from the room would be better than the view on the fireworks cruise?

I'm really just weighing my options and considering the best way to end our summer vacation next year.

personally I'd want CR if I was mainly looking for the fireworks. Poly would be nice too though.

we stay at CR TPV and LOVE it and the view of wishes and the castle. never stayed at Poly so can't comment. we also did P&P cruise and it was awesome as well.
