Which Towncar Service?

I've tried to get a quote out of Tiffany 2x's and they've never responded. Definitely not getting a good impression!

dzneelvr,
I know that Happy Limo services Sanford because I asked them about it once, back when Pan Am used to to fly out of Gary. I didn't ask about a coupon rate because Pan Am bailed and we never ended up trying it.

i planned to do some calling, and didn't get around to it before Thanksgiving, then yesterday our DD had emergency appendecomy (sp?). so, now we're home and i'm hoping that while i'm home from work with her, i'll get it done

i agree - after 2 calls and no response, they'd be marked off my list, too... so quite possibly i'll have sympathy pains for you and also find someone else.

i'll try back tomorrow

Anyone know if Tiffany has a grocery stop? I didnt see it on there web site. I need to stop and get Mt. Dew. lol

Yes, Tiffany does a grocery stop. They asked me where I wanted to stop. I let them decide, not knowing any stores around. They took us to a Publix. We were in there far longer than 15 min. The driver told us to take our time.

It was a fine experience!

This was our first time using a towncar service and I was extremely nervous. I checked most companies. Your Ride was by far the cheapest and they returned my emails very promptly. Since this trip was such a big deal and there were 8 of us, 6 here, 8 there and it was a 4 leg trip, I was really aprehensive. I booked Your ride and checked back with them a few days prior. We got to the airport and didn't see our driver, picked up our luggage and started to get concerned. Couldn't keep the cell phone connected down by luggage, starting to panic. Nice luggage person asked if he could helped, went right over to our driver and we were on our way. He had just came in but I think our flight ended up early and our loads of luggage was there extremely quick. Limo driver was extremely friendly and entertaining. We did a van for the rest of the legs. They did farm out to Alladin tours which worried us that maybe Alladin was trying to steal us away from your ride. They were great as well, extremely friendly and called to verify info. I did suggest to your ride that they give some warning that another company might pick us up but it wasn't a problem for us. vehicles were immaculate and the 3 drivers total for the 4 legs were great. Would book with them in a heartbeat!

Has anybody heard of or used Midnight Limousine Service in Orlando? I'm using them for my upcoming trip and just want some info from somebody who has had experience with them??
Thanks,Debbie

We just returned last week from a land and sea trip. We used Tiffany 2 times prior and went back to them again for this trip. They are awesome. Our driver was Waseem. He was with us for all three legs of our trip. From MCO to Universal to Port Canaveral to MCO. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. When I booked I told them that the cruise portion of our trip was a secret for our DD (age 10). When Waseem arrived my husband quietly reminded him not to mention the cruise and he said he already knew about it and would be sure not to say anything. He played along great. Just so you know, some of the towncar companies hire drivers to drive the company cars. At tiffany, the drivers own their own vehicles and are sort of like contractors. They get calls for jobs and they say if they are available or not. If they are picking you up it is because they chose you not because thier boss told them they had to. They take great pride in the cars because they own them. They know if they do not provide good service and Tiffany hears about it, they will not get called again. Our driver has worked for his competitors before and he told us that Tiffany treats him with respect like he was family not like an employee and that is why he has worked for them for so long.

To the person that called Tiffany and did not get a reponse, try them again. You wont be dissapointed.

On top of all of this, they were less expensive than Mears and Fl Tours.

i finally cracked under pressure and called FLTours. Since they sponsor the board, and I've gotten so much info from the board, I gave them a call. Andy did quote our split transportation as a round-trip, and did graciously offer a three-leg trip for our convenience. We can use the online coupon. We've decided not to make a grocery stop. I did mention that I called FLTours because of their sponsorship of disboard and Andy assured me that I would be able to post a very positive report of their service!

Let me know which towncar service you've reserved, and post report whenever you get back!

I hope you have a very Happy Holiday, '...and may all your Christmases be bright...!"

(i'll pm you in case this post is 'past its prime'!)

thanks so much!

We just got home and used Your Ride for roundtrip service. Bob was our driver. He was great! He was prompt, very courteous, and very safe. He drove a GMC Yukon. I know that Your Ride has recieved a lot of flak here on the boards lately. I dont mean to be putting in a plug for them, just wanted to state our personal experience with their service.

WE JUST RETURNED HOME FROM DISNEY AND WE USED FL TOURS VAN FOR OUR ROUND TRIP FROM THE ORLANDO AIRPORT AND TWO TRIPS FROM ALL STAR MOVIES TO UNIVERSAL AND THEY WERE WONDERFUL FOR SERVICE. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME AND HAD NO PROBLEM WAITING FOR US ONE MORNING WHEN WOKE UP 15 MINUTES LATE. WE WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.

How far in advance do you book a towncar? I am planning on trying a towncar service. I did not see a grocery stop for Tiffany... so do you just fill that in the special request section?

We just got back and had great service with Cartier Towncar! The driver was prompt and very pleasant. We will be booking with them on our next trip.

BunnyFoo: did you come from Sanford or Orlando's airport? We're flying into Sanford.

thanks.
