If we decise not to use the DCL transfers, we must choose a towncar co. Quicksilver qouted $254, and FL tours $235. Just spoke to Happy Limo and they gave us $282 with gratuity includedfor the 3 of us. These all sound high since our transfers were only $207. Is it worth it? Are all companies created equal?

Smlev,
I've noticed that you have posted about this subject several times, I think you just need to ask yourself what is going to be best for you and your family...

If you don't care about getting reservations on the ship or being one of the first on the ship then go with the DCL transfers.

If you want to get to port early, have a bit more control of when you come and go, then book your own transport.

As far as which company to use, I think that if you go with any of the ones that have been mentioned on this board you should be fine.

But in the end, remember that you will be in the land of Mickey and pixie dust and there isn't much better than that!!

Not sure when you are leaving, but I leave Saturday and will return with a full report on how it all worked out!

Take care!
Gina

Are you talking limo, towncar or van? Is this three legs (MCO to Disney to Cruise to MCO)?

Tiffany charged us $160 from the airport and back for our trip - minus whatever coupon was in the passporter, plus tip, for a towncar which fit two adults, two kids, our driver and our luggage just fine.

Service was fine, we will use them again.

We liked the towncar - although I haven't taken the bus so I can't compare. Our tablemates took the bus and were very disappointed. They apparently didn't have the best busload and were beginning to wonder about the quality of the DCL clientele. Had we taken the bus with the horror story they told about the people in front of them and the people behind them - the towncar would have been worth TWICE the expense.

crisi,

Thank you for your post! You just made me feel so much better about deciding to go with the town car service!! I definately believe the peace of mind is priceless!!

BTW we are using FLTours, sponsors on these boards. I have only heard good things about them! Andy seems to be very nice!!

Have you tried Cartier? They were great when we used them in September. Have used Tiffany as well but not nearly as pleased with them since they were late picking us up from the resort to take us to the airport.
