Looking for recommendations/opinions on what tours you enjoyed on board the Western Cruise for 2 adults no children.

The only tours on board that I am aware of are the galley tour and the bridge tour. Are you maybe thinking of excursions--which are on land?

Hi Dizney dogs, do you mean the excursions, if so loads to choose from , couples massage castaway cay, tandem parasailing key west or castaway cay, stingray swim, snorkel or diving through nativewaywatersports, capt marvins or dcl, wine tasting on board dcl, palos adults only brunch on key west day, sunset sail at key west the list goes on and on, Have fun planning.

Hi

I am actually referring to the activities on board the ship such as the wine tasting, galley tour, bridge tour, behind the scenes, ice carving, art tour etc.

The adult Art of Entertaining series on the Magic is wonderful. There is also a guided ship tour and a tour of the ship you can do on your own. The Galley tour is fun and interesting...a hint...if you do not want to wait in line to get tickets for this...attend the Art of Entertaining series..if you attend all three session they hand out Galley Tour tcikets at the end of the third session. Each session is about an hour long. The Bridge has resumed again. It was stopped after 9/11 but has begun again. The time for it will be listed in the Navigator.

The ice carving is done up on Deck 9 and does not require sign-up...they just start carving a huge block of ice on the stage by the Goofy pool and everyone gathers around to watch...best place for viewing is Deck 10. All the above activities will be listed in your Navigator and show time and place.

We enjoyed the Bridge tour. Although the tour was lead by the assistant cruise director (Karen?), she was pretty good at explaining the basics. One of the officers was on the bridge at the time and he provided some extra details about the bridge operation. I would recommend it.

We also tried the wine tasting tour and it was very interesting too. We tried 3 whites, 3 reds and a champagne. Since we are novices, the wine tasting was very educational.
