Who: Me--adult female (been to Disney with spouse and kids 5/2012, 11/2009, 1/2008, 1/2005, and as a child in 11/1984)
Brother--adult male (last trip to Disney was 11/1984 when he was 7 years old)
When: Arriving later in the day on Thurs. Sept 20, flight leaves later in the day on Sunday September 23
Where: We are staying at the Yacht Club
Add'l Info: We currently have three 1-day park hoppers (separate paper tickets) each.
Plan A:
Thursday afternoon: check out the resort/Storm Along Bay, maybe eat dinner at the Yachtsman, go check out Downtown Disney (specifically considering Raglan Road)
Friday: Morning EMH at Animal Kingdom, I have ADRS for Tusker house at 1:45...stay until mid day...then go back to hotel maybe relax a bit, then walk to Epcot and spend evening hours there. I have ADRS for 7 pm at marakesh...hope to see Illuminations at 9 pm. Maybe go to Jellyrolls if not too tired at night
Saturday: Morning EMH at Hollywood Studios, I have ADRs at Brown Derby at noon...stay until mid day...then go to the Magic Kingdom (open 'till 11 pm)
Sunday Go to whatever park we feel we did not get enough time at in the morning...we'll have to leave for the airport in the afternoon.
Pros: We visit all 4 parks, plus get a "free day" to visit whatever we didn't see enough of at a still "relaxed" pace
Cons: Won't get to see Fantasmic!
Plan B:
Thursday afternoon: check out the resort/Storm Along Bay, maybe eat dinner at the Yachtsman, go check out Downtown Disney (specifically considering Raglan Road)
Friday Morning EMH at AK, TH for lunch, stay 'till mid day...then go to MNSSHP at night
Saturday: Morning EMH at HS, Brown Derby for lunch,if needed go back to hotel to rest/relax...return to HS in evening for Fantasmic!
Sunday Epcot
Pros: Get to see Fantasmic! And go to MNSSHP...
Cons: -Will need to shell out additional $ for MNSSHP (though I do qualify for the military discount, so I think that's approx $37/pp)
- I'm a little worried we'll be so tired from staying up late Friday, then going to a park early Saturday...
-Won't get to see illuminations...
Which sounds better to you? Or do you have a different suggestion? Thanks!
