Which tour?

Going for my 9th trip in the last 3 years. DH and DD11 couldn't care less about doing tours, so DH suggested I do one this trip on my own.

I'm deciding between A Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps, and the Holiday Time at Disneyland tours.

Pros? Cons? Thoughts to consider? I assume tours go on even if it rains? How soon do I need to reserve my spot? (I'm currently 28 days away.)

FWIW, it's my first holiday time at Disneyland. I usually go late Jan or early Feb, and June or July. It's just me this time. No accessibility issues, beyond having to take stairs slowly. It will be on my second day of touring, out of 3 full days in the park. After discounts, they are within $10 of each other ($92.50 vs $85, I believe).

Availability may make your decision for you. Both tours are fun, so you won't lose either way. Tours start booking 30 days out, so I would call as soon as you can to see if you can get a spot for the Holiday tour. Doing that is really fun and festive. And since it is only offered during Holidaytime, and since the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour is offered year round, I would try for the Holiday tour first. But if there isn't availablity on the day you need, the other tour is good, too.

At this point, it might be too late to get tickets for the Holiday tour.
I would choose the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour. I wouldn't want to be seeing the Holiday attractions and watching the parade from VIP seats without my family being with me.
