Which to choose? ESPN or Big River Grille?

We plan on eating on the Boardwalk one night and are debating between ESPN and Big River Grille. I think my kids (13, 11, 8) might enjoy ESPN, but is the food good? Is the food at BRG so much better than ESPN that it would be the better choice?

I really appreciate all your opinions!

Haven't eaten at BRG, but my DH and I were there in March and had lunch at ESPN. The food was very good. Much better than I expected and I think that your kids would really like the atmosphere. Enjoy!

Been to both. BRG is much better than ESPN. ESPN isn't bad its your typical sports bar/pub fare. Your kids would probably enjoy EPSN more.

We eat at both places when we are there. I think both have good food, ESPN is a more "fun" atmosphere, with alot of food choices for kids and a game room. BRG is good food as well, I like their salads, but more just a "sit and dine" atmosphere, although there are outdoor tables on the boardwalk. I think it depends on which atmosphere you prefer. Either way, have a great time!

Meatloaf at the BRG....yummy. We always hit BRG on our trips and will continue to do so.

ESPN is also a nice play to eat but BRG food is better.

BRG is a hidden gem in Disney - good value, great tasting food. I'd pick there over ESPN any day of the week, mainly because of their honey mustard chicken sandwich.... mmmmm....

We did ESPN for lunch and it was quite good. We just had sandwiches/fries but it was above average and during the day(on a weekday) the place was empty(i.e. the service was good).

I'll go against the grain a little here...pirate:
IMHO I think that the food and aptmosphere at ESPN is better. You cannot be the Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae!!

Definitely the kids will enjoy ESPN better. BRG seemed more adult oriented to me. Try the bucket of wings at ESPN. You dont just get the wing..you get both parts and they are huge!

With kids I would Choose ESPN, but thats beacause I am a bid sportsfan

Man if that place isnt a mans fantasy come true
with TVs in the toilets no less

well Almost a mans Fantasy :o :o ;)
