I am going to get a Disney tat within the next month. I have narrowed it down to these three. Which do you like the best? Mickey and Minnie are to represent DH and I. I will probably just add my DD's name underneath or on top, but any suggestions on how to incorporate DD would be appreciated! Thanks!

Where are you getting it, please not a tramp stamp!

What the heck is a tramp stamp????

I am getting it from a dear friend of mine who is a very talented tattoo artist with his own parlor. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Art Institute and is very well respected and admired for his work in our area. Plus he is giving me a great price and will let me do it over a few days to minimize the pain!

I say #3 too - without the dark background, just the moon - but as far as incorporating DD, why don't you have them add a baby mouse? A little Minnie?

Her front arm, instead of holding Mickey, could be cradling a baby. Maybe all you would see is a bundle of blanket, with big ears sticking out! :rotfl:

Regardless of DD's age, I think it would be cute :)

And tattoo artists are so good - they can easily add stuff like that. They prefer to make it a little original, anyway - not 100% copy all the time.

That's my vote :thumbsup2

#2

You could put your each letter of your DDs name in the little heart bubbles. Or if you go with #3, you could put your DDs name in the moon.

I think they meant "where on your body?" :) And a "tramp stamp" is when a woman has a tatoo at the base of her spine or across her low back.

Don't shoot the messenger ;) .

That is an awesome idea! I think I will bring that to my friend and see what he can do. i wanted to give him a general idea of what I wanted so I know what I am getting. He did my first tattoo and I told him to freelance. I love it, but I was a little suprised at what he gave me!

I like #2 or 3.

I think the other poster meant where on your body are you getting it? A "tramp stamp" means it's on your lower back...just above your jeans ;) .
Whatever...lol!!

That's funny, I have never heard of that! No, I am not getting it in either place. I am thinking on my upper shoulder or right below the base of my neck. I want it to be hidden if neccessary (and I have long hair) or I can wear my hair up and show it off.

A tramp stamp is when w woman gets a tattoo in the small of her back, right above the crack. lol.

Also, it will be much more painful to get a tattoo over a couple of days, unless you mean you are going to get a few sessions over a couple of months? Is this your first tat?

Hey, my DH LOVES my tramp stamp! He's the only one that ever sees it anyway, lol!

I like #2 best!

This is my second. My first one was 10 years ago and I have been traumatized ever since! He said I could spread it out over a few days or do one session a week for about 3 weeks and do a little at a time since I have a very low pain tolerance.

Spread it out over three weeks then.

I have a tat on the back of my neck that is about 6 inches long and 4 inches wide with ALOT of detail, and that only took 4 hours. The closer you get to your hairline, the more tender it is. Its my only tat, so I don't really have anything to compare pain wise. However, DH has them head to toe and he says the most painful places to get ink is on the throat and on the top of your foot. And pretty much anywhere that hurts when you pinch it, is really going to be painful when a needle hits it. :)

Remember to think happy thoughts and keep a positive frame of mind.
