Hi,

We are intending to call at a supermarket on the way from MCO to Beach Club Villas and wondered which was best. Any ideas where we should stop? We will be getting nappies, snacks, cereal, milk, water and probably some beer and wine.

Also, we are arriving on a Sunday - do supermarkets have limited hours?

we like publix ther a coupe near disney, one on vineland and one on 192 near to the Gaylord palms on world drive. Then there is always walmart if you are going down sandlake to i4 its on the left

Vote for the Publix south i-drive across from Premium outlets. Not huge but everything you'll need and very friendly and helpful staff.

If you take the 417 Central Florida Greeneway, there is an Albertsons just off exit 11 (north) on the Orange Blossom Trail and a Winn Dixie a few blocks further north. At the next exit (12 - John Young Parkway) you'll find both a Publix and a Wynn Dixie (just south of the exit). You can then leave the 417 at exit 6 (World Center Drive onto Epcot Center Drive and then Buena Vista Drive where BCV are located). The Publix near Gaylord Palms and Premium Outlets would mean going a little bit further out of your way, but both are certainly options.

Of the usual suspects, we prefer Publx, but Albertsons is a step up - there just aren't that many around.

Ooooppps missed the second part of your question. I suggest once you have chosen which you are going to stop at check their web site for the particular branch and it's opening hours.

Apologies, I missed this too. The good news is that they don't have limited hours on Sundays. Most Publix have the same extended hours 7 days a week. They do vary a bit from store to store, but at a minimum they'll be open from 8am to 10pm.

Most Publix stores are open from 8am to 10pm each day including Sunday.

I am not sure if they have changed their hours recently, because I know the 3 stores up along the 192 were all open at 7am last August.

I would come down the 528 from MCO - get off at the SeaWorld exit (going left) & call at the publix near the premium outlets. This route brings you in near DTD so not far from the Epcot resort areas.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but when we go we try to get in early enough to go to Medieval Times after we land, then we grab our groceries at the Wal-Mart next door to it and head to the Hotel.

We vote for publix if you don't want to go to far etc.
Wal-mart is good too.
