Which Super 8?

Which Super 8 is the closest? I'm hoping for walking distance (with kids). The website has one "near Disneyland" and one on Disneyland Dr. The one "near Disneyland" looks closer on a map to me, but it's listed as 2.6 miles away and the one on Disneyland Drive is listed as 1.8 miles. Does anyone have any experience with either of these hotels?

The one on Disneyland Drive is closer to the park, however you would have to walk south down Disneyland Drive and through Downtown Disney to get to the entrance esplanade.

The one on Katella Ave you would have to walk north on harbor to get to the entrance esplanade.

The walk from the one on Disneyland Dr would be pretty boring until you got to DTD all you would pass is an AM/PM gas station. I do not recommend dinning there.

The walk from Katella takes you by a number of eateries if you are looking to save some money.

So depending on your preference if you want to get to the park quick I would stay on Disneyland Dr. (might be good for fireworks) or if you would like to have some meal choices on the way to and the way home from the park Katella would be better.

We fairly leisurely walked it tonight from the one on W. Katella in about 20 mins. No idea how long the other one takes. HTH.
