We are FL residents and annual pass holders so we are able to go to Disney a few times a year. We are booking a trip for sept and will be taking our almost 3 year old and 9 month old. Previously we have stayed at AKL (loved but far) and poly (loved, especially the two bathrooms since we could put a pack in play in one for DD who sleeps best in her own room) the grand (before kids) and the value and moderate resorts. We would love to try other resorts but I don't want to be disappointed after our poly stay. We only went for a few days and only got to use the pool once, I would like to spend more time at the resort. If I had to pick just based on resorts, I would pick AKL due to the pool area and animals, but I don't love having to use the buses or drive.
Our options are:
Lake view BLT: I'm concerned with room size and it's the most expensive
Standard poly studio: love the room size and location , but wouldnt mind trying a new place.
Beach club: it should be food and wine which would be neat to walk to and the pool looks awesome.
Wilderness Lodge: always wanted to stay here, not sure if construction would be an issue and I'm not sure it is as nice as the poly.
Wwyd?
