Which Studio?

I am thinking about staying in a studio at a villa on my next trip. I have a few questions that I hope somebody on here can answer.

I'm looking at Boardwalk Villas, Animal Kingdom Villas, Old Key West and Saratoga springs.

How comfortable are the pull out beds (for an adult)? Which is the quietest? Has the best transportation? How soon do the studios book up for each?

I'd love to hear what advantages and disadvantages there are to each one.

I think it depends on who is going and what you are looking for. OKW studios actually have 2 queen beds and no pull out!

I think then I would go with OKW so no one has to sleep on the pullout but I do love BWV location!

Will you be spending a lot of time at Epcot and DHS? Then your best bet would be BWV.

Like PP said, if you go with OKW, no one has to sleep on the pullout couch.

AKV or BWV could be a lot of fun if you're planning for a lot of resort time.

What time of year is your trip?

We prefer AkL kV you will
Have a quieter resort first drop off and first pick up. There is no counter service at Kidani. But you can get one at AKL. I have no desire to share the bus with that many other stops. Have stayed on the pull out and it is not bad. We are bringing my Sil next year and her daughter so we will have 4 in the studio.

I love the sleepers at BWV and will choose them over the bed. I find them very comfortable.

I am thinking more and more about the Boardwalk because of it's location. It would so nice to be able to walk to different areas and restaurants.
How much noise can you hear inside your room? Is there any landscaping areas with grass and trees? All the pictures I see are of the boardwalk and pool areas. I would rather not have a boardwalk or pool view, but not sure what other views there would be.
Are the pull out couches the same in all villas or are some more comfortable? I know Old Key west has 2 queens, but I'm just not sure if I want to stay there.

In my experience, most of the noise at the BWV comes from the hallways - children running and parents yelling at them to be quiet, LOL. Thus, rooms farther from the elevators are almost always the quietest.

Ask to overlook the croquet lawn if you don't want a pool or boardwalk view.

After you are settled, check out the stairways (if you don't have anyone traveling in a stroller, wheelchair or ECV). They can be great shortcuts!

I love the BWV - it's my home resort and the location is a huge benefit!
