There are pros and cons.
The big stroller is great because of the reclining, the storage etc. But it's a pain in the *** to get around the parks, buses, cars, planes etc.
The lighter stroller is great because it's easy to carry, maneuver and if you have to go up stairs, you can fold it up quick and cary it.
I personally go umbrella stroller because at 13 months your child should be able to sleep sitting up, or the umbrella should recline just enough so it's not rough on their neck.
If you can get an umbrella with a place to put/hang your diaper bag then you're sitting pretty. If you can't get one, bring a backpack and not a shoulder strap bag.
