Which sounds better to you?

I'm building up a trip for August 2008 in which we're doing a split stay between POP and the beach club, and also going to hard rock at universal. Which sounds better to you?

To be more cost efficient, I want to stay at the BC during the week so we don't run into the weekend rates, but I feel like starting at the BC wouldn't be the best way to go, because while we were at the value, we would be building up anticipation for the BC. To accomplish this, we would go to POP, than leave disney and go to Universal, and than go back to Disney after universal, rather than start at universal and than go to disney staying at the beach club and than POP. Would you split the disney stay and head to universal in between?

That's an awful lot of packing and unpacking. And it is a LOT less fun when you're on vacation than it is at home.

Also remember that you have to check out of one by 11:00 and may not get into another until 3:00, leaving you without a place to relax and cool off during the hottest part of the day.

There is no way I'd stay in 3 hotels during one trip. I would switch for Uni, but even that is something I wouldn't look forward to doing.

That said, I'd do Universal first, then Pop, then BC.

I went to HRH last year in september, and while it did spoil us (especially labor day weekend!) i still felt "saving the best for last" (disney) was better, but thanks for the reply!

I know Disney advertises weekend rates, but none of the quotes I ever received included them

im doing something similar but not doing a hotel at universal
staying 9 days in disney, split between pop & WL
decided im gonna do universal/ioa during the middle of my stay
