I have Corel Paint Shop Pro X1 on my laptop but have not been able to figure out how to use it. Right now I have Photoshop Elements 6 on it as a trial, I have been able to do the names out of the characters so far but I am having difficulty working with layers. My questions is should I buy the Photoshop Elements or just struggle and try to learn Corel Paint Shop. What is ya'lls suggestions on the easiest program to learn and use. I really really want to learn one of them. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good book (for dummies) for the Corel program?
Ok enough questions but I run out of the trial period in 12 days.:confused3 :confused3
Thanks
Dean

I've used 3 different graphics programs over the years. Micrografx Picture Publisher (which I believe is now owned by Corel), Photo Impact, and Photoshop Elements. Of the 3 I prefer PS Elements. It's been the most intuitive of the 3 I've used. All 3 required a certain amount of learning and experimenting. Any program with the complexity of a graphics program will.
