I saw the post on another camping thread that listed all loops and their new designations. None just said full hookup, they were all either partial, preferred, or premium. Our reservation for april just says full hookup, and we're bringing our dog. Which loops are these?? :confused3

Sorry if this is a stupid question. When I asked on the phone, the CM kept insisting we didn't have a prefered, premium or partial--she insisted it was full hookup only but couldn't tell me what loops that meant.

Thanks.

This is the list I've seen:

Loop 100 - Preferred
Loop 200 - Preferred
Loop 300 - Preferred (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 400 - Premium
Loop 500 - Premium (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 600 - Premium
Loop 700 - Premium (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 800 - Premium (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 900 - Premium (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 1000 - Premium
Loop 1100 - Premium
Loop 1200 - Premium (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 1300 - Premium (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 1400 - Premium
Loop 1500 - Partial
Loop 1600 - Preferred (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 1700 - Preferred
Loop 1800 - Preferred (Pet friendly loop)
Loop 1900 - Preferred
Loop 2000 - Partial

1600 & 1800 are rumored to remain full hook-ups.

We have reservations for June and they are for "Full Hookup". I was wondering where we would be wandering.

1600 & 1800 are rumored to remain full hook-ups.

I have seen this rumor get repeated a couple of times lately, but I will tell you that they are definitely installing cable in the 1600 and 1800 loops. The conduit pipe is there. On this past weekend, there was actual cable in the conduit at each site on the 1600 loop. Based on how this work progressed on other loops, I would say that the cable will be running on the 1600 loop within the next two weeks.

For whatever reason, Disney is still issuing reservations for full hook up sites past the date when the conversion work was to be completed, so there could be some truth to the rumors that some loops will be left as full hook up loops, but I doubt it.

When all is said and done, there will only be three categories; Premium, preferred and partial.

The loop conversions are going MUCH slower than originally published.

So as of right now the full hookup loops are:

900
1000
1100
1200
1300 ?? (Not sure, this loop now has cable, so may be preferred)
1600
1800

The preferred loops are:
100
200
300
400
600
700
1700
1900

The premium loops are:
500
800

The partial loops are:
1500
2000

(Have no clue on pet or not pet at this point)

I too, just made reservations for October 09 and December 09 for Full Hookup. Either they are leaving some loops designated as Full Hookup, or the upgrades are going to stretch out for all of next year.

Carol-

Good job on breaking this down.

I hate to do this to you, but there were most definitely folks connected to cable in the 1200 and 1300 loops this past weekend.

And, there is cable in the boxes (but the connectors have not yet been installed) on the 1600 and 1100 loops. I don't think it will be long until those loops have cable. I can't imagine why they wouldn't go ahead and do 1800 now, but for whatever reason, they just have empty conduit there for now. I don't think they would have put the conduit in if they weren't going to put cable in, too.

I think this is only going to leave 900 and 1000 as the full hook up loops at the end of this month. As we discussed when I saw you the other day, these loops are going to become premium loops, so they probably won't get cable until they get the premium upgrade. I am thinking these loops will be done last. It looks like 400 is going to get done this month, and then I'm guessing they will move on to either 600 or 700.

And, I concur about the pet loops. I give up on that. I think everything is a pet loop right now.

Personally, I think booking full hook ups is a good strategy right now. You get a lower rate, and you are probably going to end up on a preferred loop for the full hook up rate. If not, then you will be on 900 or 1000, which are both nice loops.

The 1600 loop will definately be hooked up to cable soon. They were working on it when we were there and of course the guys talked to the cable men. They actually thought it would be this week.

No worries. I didn't do any snooping, but some friends of ours were staying in 1300 and had cable, so I knew it had cable, but don't know what level of site they booked

That's my current strategy!!

Hopefully in December, I'll have time for scoping out more of the Fort.

I was pondering this myself tonight. I only have April booked, but we're considering a trip between august and november and should probably book that now.

Thank you to everyone for the responses. I know I'm not the brightest bulb, but I was pretty sure that "full hookup" didn't appear on the new list of loop designations.

Today there are people all over the 1800 loop working on the cable hookups and were here yesterday too.

This was taken about 15min ago looking out the back window of our trailer in the 1800 loop.

Nice work, Larry!

Can't ask for anything more recent than that.

It looks like they're pulling the actual cable and that area has three pipes and I think is the main feed for the 1800 loop.

P.S. It looks like there are a couple of trucks and maybe 6 to 10 workers in our loop ... Oh wait is that 5 to 9 workers and one supervisor or 5 to 9 supervisors and one worker:lmao: Hmmmm can't really tell :confused3 :rotfl:
