Which Signature?

We're on the DDP for our NYE trip. It'll be me, DH, DDad, and DMom, and our one year old precious DD.

We cannot decide on either Narcossee's or Yachtman's Steakhouse. What would you suggest for the five of us? obviuosly DD would have her own food to eat, so count her out...

Have not been to YS, but can give Narcoossee's whatever would be the highest praise you can think of.

We have only tried Yachtsman. We love it. The steaks are exce llent.We have dinner there on every trip. When your DD gets older she can get the white chocolate puzzle desert. It is my boys' favorite.

Thanks for the help. It's hard to decide. One decision that might help would be what atmosphere would be most accommodating for a one-year old?

Narcoossee's is pretty laid back. There is also the deck for a time out or just to stretch some little legs or get some air. You also have a chance to see the Electric Water parade and even Wishes if you're ADR is timed right.

We've been to both many times. Just dined at both during our May trip. Your baby will be fine at both.

YSH has really improved again IMO. For a couple years, we weren't all that impressed but this past trip, everyone loved their dinner. Service was excellent as well.

The cuisine at Narcoossee's is excellent as well. However this trip our service was very friendly but not all that good. Unfortunately, that has been true our last several meals there. But the view and location are wonderful.

The menus of course are quite different.

Are you staying at BCV? If so, I'd pick YSH...so easy to just stroll to dinner.

I have also eaten at both and my vote would definitely be Narcoosee's. YSH is the only TS restaurant at WDW that we will not return to. After a couple of meals we just don't like it. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was great but the food was not good.
Narcoossee's has a beautiful setting. If you time it right you can go outside and watch Wishes. It can be a little loud, but that was not a problem for us.

I was just at WDW May 3rd-10th and ate at both. Personally I much preferred Narcoosee's. There's not really anything to look at at Yatchsman, but at Narcoosee's your little one would have the lake, boats, monorail, other resorts, ect to look at. Both are child friendly, though. I preferred the food at Narcoosee's. That almond cheesecake is the best dessert I've ever put in my mouth.

In fact, when I was there in May, I was on the DxDDP and did a Signature restaurant every night. For my family trip in Sept, Narcoosee is the only one I'm repeating.

We have never dined at Narcoossees as being a veggie the menu has never inspired me.

But we have eaten at the Yachtsmans and we loved it. Still not our favourite, thats the California Grill. But the Yachtsmans was excellent and we are returning in December.

We are a vegetarian family, though we do eat fish. I wouldn't let that keep me from Narcoossee's much longer. They are very accomodating and will provide a vegetarian meal that I'm sure will be to your liking. Also my nephew really liked his Mickey pasta from the children's menu.

We go to the Yachtman every trip - the food is prepared fresh daily and there are table with views of the pool area. I 've seen younger children in there many times. I've taken my 5 yr old nephew and it was fine. They also do have vegetarian dishes available there.

Thanks for all of the tips! We've eaten at Narcossee's and absolutely love it! I guess the appeal of YSH is that we've never been there before, you know?
