If you could pick one signature from this list, which one would you pick?
DH likes fish, DD and I love shellfish and we all love steak/meat. I am not a very adventurous eater but really want some lobster/crab/shrimp on our trip!

My choices:
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Narcosees
California Grill
Citricos

Am I missing any that sounds like it would fit our eating patterns? Which ones have the best kid's meal choices? DGD will get sick of pizza and chicken nuggets very quickly.

TIA!:worship:

I would also put Flying Fish at the top of the list; it's a lot better than Narcoosees IMO. Flying Fish is my favorite of the restaurants offered on Disney's Dining Plan.

From your list, my favorite is Citricos. I don't know the age of your child; Citricos can be a more adult atmosphere and children could be very bored here as there is nothing in the way of decor or atmosphere that would amuse most young diners.

On the rest of your list, I would rank them Ca Grill, Yachtsman, Narcoosees.

Haven't tried any of the rest yet, but we didn't care for Yachtsman. We would probably try Narcoosees next.

Of the ones on your list, I would pick Citricos or Yachtsman. Wasn't too impressed with California Grill or Narcoossee's this past trip (went to both last week, and Yachtsman and Citricos within the past few days).

We had a wonderful meal at Cali Grill last time we were there. We timed it so we could watch Wishes, and it was totally worth it. The service was second to none, and we loved the unique and inventive menu options!

California Grill is great in terms of food and atmosphere, so that would be my pick. The view is incomparable.

From your list, I would choose Citricos. I have had the best food and service there. I try to mix up where I eat each trip, but we have dined at Citricos the last two trips in a row and I am finding it hard to resist another visit on our next trip.

You didn't list Flying Fish, but I will agree with what the other posters have suggested. It is a great option for a seafood lover.

Thank you for the replies so far. Amother question that I am sure has been answered a 100 times, but like the Dalmations, let's go to 101.

When you use your two dining credits to eat at a signature are you still only getting the entree, dessert and beverage as the deal or is more included?

I don't think I could pick a favorite between Cali Grill and Flying Fish. They are both awesome restaurants and we eat there almost every trip. I know for sure we loved Citricos but it has been about 3 years since we have eaten there so I can't rank it number 1 :) Narcossee's is a distant 4th for me( food is just kind of boring IMO) and I have never tried Yachtsman.

Of those, I would choose Cali Grill, followed by Yachtsman. But I think both Flying Fish and Jiko were better. Just got back today and ate five signature dinners in a row. Where is that piggy smilie? lol

I would suggest Flying Fish as well. They have fish, shellfish, and an outstanding steak.

If I had to pick something from your list, then I'd say Citricos, but they won't have much shellfish. They do always have a few meat and few fish options though.

I may be the lone vote for Narcoosee's - it's one of our favorites. The lobster is tasty, the view is excellent, and the food is not pretentious. I despise cheesecake but that almond-crusted confection is fabulous. We've never made it over to Flying Fish, but it sounds like we'll have to try it on the next trip.

And yes, even using double credits, you still receive only beverage, entree, and dessert.

Citrico's for sure! We have had nothing but outstanding meals and wonderful service there.

Second on my list would be Yachtsman Steakhouse. Another wonderful place and the food is fantastic.

The nice thing about both of the places I mentioned is that you can walk around the beautiful resorts when you are done dining and take everything in.

Yachtman's Steakhouse and Narcossee's are both rated very high with me and the spousal unit. Atmosphere, service, and food was exceptional at both places. Have not heard any derogatory info on the California Grill. Hopefully, CG will be on our list for our next trip. We heard so many good things about the The Flying Fish, tried it and was very disappointed. Services was terrible, atmosphere was non-existent, food was horrible. There was a bed sheet between our table and the one next to us. Not a big fan of Citrocos either. Get more for your $$ at Narcossee's. Left Citrocos, broke and hungry. Good Luck!

People appear to love flying fish, citricos and ca. grill and I would agree . . . but no one mentioned our favorite Jiko!
