Which 'Signature' restaurant do you recommend?

7:15pm Bus drops off at Both Port Orleans resorts then OKW. Although this last time he took us to OKW first, I think sing wheels on the bus as loud as we could clinched it. :goodvibes

That should be easy then - DD has learnt a whole bunch of really annoying songs since starting school :rolleyes1

Did Lilly enjoy the show?

The Hoop dee doo was fantastic earlier this week.
I wasn't sure what to expect tbh but all 3 of us loved it, probably the best meal of the trip! Nothing fancy but fantastic fried chicken and delicious ribs, some folks thought it was a competition to see how much they could eat or drink but we had plenty with the first buckets.....:thumbsup2

We were at the 20:30 show which gives grade1 seating on the DDP, I believe the earlier shows are only grade 2 or 3 seats.....

When we visited in August, we ate at Narcoossee's twice (although we were on the dining plan!!). If we had paid, it would have been $235 for three of us plus the 20% gratuity :scared: but that said, we all really enjoyed our meals and had the same fantastic server on both occasions.

Also to note with regard to Hoop de Doo (which we also enjoyed), this would have cost us around $180 for three of us but did, as noted above, include all drinks AND the gratuity - fairly sure all three dinner shows include drinks and gratuity.

Jiko for us. We've been on both trips and loved it each time.

Narcoosees is a must do for us next trip. Our wedding meal was from the Narcoosees menu and it was all delicious! So we're keen to eat there.

We would defo go for Narcoosees, every time we have been there it has been fantastic. A close 2nd is the Flying Fish!

My favourite is Cali Grill but if that's not available then Jiko gets my vote! Have had two lovely experiences there, the first time we got seated in the private wine room which was fantastic and the food was delicious. The second time we had the best service, they were so accomodating - they seated us early as we had given ourselves too much time to get there :goodvibes and then made us up the cutest dessert doggy bags so that we could go and watch wishes with our puddings! And the food was amazing again! Have a great time whichever you decide, they are all lovely!

Always top of our list for 2 credits :thumbsup2

+1 for Hoop De Doo. All you care to enjoy dinner AND a show. Added bonus - All you care to enjoy alcohol is also included. (beer and sangria)

We also enjoy Le Cellier. Totally different atmosphere than HDDR. ha ha

We have all done Hoop De Doo before, but would happily do it again - it's that or the Spirit of Aloha show for us :) I'm inclined to do SoA, just because it's a brand new thing :)

We enjoyed Spirit of Aloha better than Hoop, but that is probably a minority view.

Interested in the suggestions you are getting Beth.
We are arriving late on our next trip so will have the arrival days credits so wondered about Yachtsman.

Again, thanks for all the suggestions! They're great!!

It's good to see suggestions for a range of restaurants - it's made it difficult to try and choose though! :rotfl2: I showed this thread to the three friends that I am going to WDW with, and we took a vote for our 'signature' choice. It ended up being 3 votes for Jiko to 1 vote for Yachtsman, so.... decision made I guess :)

That's good to hear! Because of our days that will be spent offsite, we'll do a dinner show as well. We've already done Hoop in the past, so are really looking forward to SoA instead :)
