Which signature dining?

I'm trying to choose a signature dining experience for DH and I. We're going to get a sitter from Kids Nite Out one night of our trip so we can have an adult evening. We're not super picky eaters, but we don't eat sushi. We're staying at BLT and want to head to MK after dinner so something nearby would be awesome. So tell me about your favorite signature dining near the MK.

1. Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge - Wonderful food and great service. Mom and I had the Buffalo Striploin and Dad had the Venison. They have the best Choclate desert in all of WDW in my opinion.

2. Citricos - I have always had great food and outstanding service at Citricos. I love the shrimp appetizer and have enjoyed the Filet, the Short Ribs and the Chicken

Those would be my top choices if you are looking for food. Some folks prefer to dine at California Grill or Narcoossees because of the view of the MK, but i you are headed over there after dinner, maybe you are after good food.

I am sure you will get many opinions. Good luck picking one.

We've been to all of them and I'd pick Citricos since you want to go to MK afterwards.

Citricos! The atmosphere is wonderful. The view is just of the Grand Floridian courtyard but the inside is lovely. The food and service is top notch!!

Jumping on the bandwagon here and voting for Citricos! Plus, it's easy to get to since it's on the monorail line.

DH and I went to 4 Signature restaurants in the MK area on our Anniversary trip in Nov. 2010. Here is how I would rate our experiences:

1. California Grill (Excellent Food & Service)

2. Artist Point (Very Good Food & Service)

3. Narcoossee's (Good Food & Service)

4. Citricos (Good Food, but Service not so great)

So I would definitely recommend California Grill for great food and service, beautiful views, and iit's conveniently located right on the monorail and right next to BLT.

We tried Artist Point at the WL for the first time this past December and it was amazing . DH and I had the filet and DS had the salmon......everything was excellent and the service was great .

Another vote for Artist Point! We loved Citrico's, too, but there's just something about Artist Point for us...we go every trip, and it's my husband's favorite meal, every time. They do a wonderful job--the salmon really is incredible, and the sides and desserts match. The boat ride afterwards to MK always ends the night perfectly! If you don't do it this time, def give it a try!

Put me down for Artist Point. In your situation, Distrans is not as convient. Still, MK is only a boat ride away. Room is beautiful and quiet. Terrific lounge. Salmon has always been great and always some style of buffalo. Ouf favorite restaurant on property.

Another vote for AP. My second choice would be Citricos...but I just love AP!
