We are going to be able to go to one Signature Dining Rest. on our June trip. We have never been to any of them and have no idea which one to chose! What are your recommendations?

Thanks! pixiedust:

I would do Brown Derby on the Fantasmic dinner! :hyper:

Not knowing what kind of food you like best makes it hard to recommend just one place! My top three signature dining choices are California Grill, Jiko, and Artist Point, in that order.

Citricos
Narcooses
Artist Point
Jiko
California Grill

When its hard to pick just one

I have this dream that, some day, we'll be at Disney World, and we'll be able to eat at some of these restaurants & not be eating at 553 character meals instead (not that the character meals aren't fun... ;) )

Anyway, if I were choosing, I would choose the following in order:

1. California Grill (I'd love to eat here & time it w/ the fireworks)
2. Artist Point (every time I read the menu at allears.net, I end up starving! It looks soooo good!)
3. Narcoose's at GF
4. Jiko

Artist Point is by far the best overall fine dining experience at WDW. You will not be disappointed with that selection!

We've only eaten at the following (in no particular order):

1.) Jiko - twice - had Beef Short Ribs last time - out of this world
2.) California Grill - great atmosphere during MK fireworks
3.) Artist Point - i can't remember but my wife says it was wonderful
4.) Flying Fish - little louder but exceptional service

5.) Victoria and Albert's - pricey but an awesome experience

We had excellent food and service at all of these but our favorite is probably Jiko. Last time was a really fun night as we sat at the "Prep Counter" where they prepared the appetizers and salads...great experience if you enjoy interacting with other people.

It will happen when your children turn 10 & you see the total of what it costs to do the character meals :)

When mine turn 10, we're going back to the counters.

To answer the question.

California Grill with a ressie about 1.5-2 hours before Wishes is a great experience.
