Which shows have matinees?

How often do the evening shows show up at matinee time? Just on sea days? Just on full cruises? It would be nice to see some of the shows in the middle of the day, then double-dip for dinner at Palo.

The ONLY show that ever has a matinee is Disney Dreams.

On the Western on 5/25, they had matinees of some of the other shows (like Herc) too. For details, see the navs. on my site at www.castawayclub.com
I really liked that because it frees up your evening if you prefer the matinee.

Just returned from the 5/18 cruise. The following shows that had a matinee performance at 2:30 pm (then at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm) were: Hercules (Sunday); Morty, the Magnificant (Monday); and Disney Dreams (Thursday). HTH

Were they by chance changing casts on the 5/18 and 5/25 cruises? That's the only time I've ever heard of them doing matinees of the other shows, so the new casts could practice more.

I hope they keep up the practice!

We were told that the casts had just changed over, but that they were having the matinees because it was a full ship. I sure hope that they keep it too! We didn't realize that it would be done, so we had some conflicting plans that kept us from attending the matinees, but if I had known about them in advance, we would probably have taken advantage of them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this goes over well so they will keep doing it up till we do the Western again next year!

We talked to the head of personnel on the Magic on our 5/11 trip, and he said the entertainment crew (at least) had changed over at the beginning of May. We were trying to hook up with a several times removed friend of a friend, and it turned out they had just left.
