Which show?

Which show would you do? Hoop Dee Doo, Mickey's Backyard BBQ or the Luau?

We went in Sept of 2015 and did HDDR. We loved it, but didn't have great seats and I had a home issue I was dealing with and on the phone for a huge chunk of it. My DD (currently 7) loved it and wants to do it again but wants better seats. But I've heard the BBQ is fun for kids and we have five traveling with us ranging in age from 3 to 10. And we are staying at the Poly for part of our stay, so the Luau would be right there! We only want to do one. Which would you choose?

Hoop dee doo is our absolute favorite. It's a must do on every trip.
Maybe give it another shot this year?
From what I read on the board when people ask the same question you asked the answer is always unanimously HDDR

I would say the luau since you have not done it before and are staying at the Poly. We have done both and are in the minority but liked SOA better.

I'd go with HDD even though you've been there before. Its such a good show and the food is good too.

We had the same choice to make and chose HDDR mainly because of comments from friends and the folks here on the DIS.

Hoop dee doo. The kids will like the show better. I have gone to the luau twice. Entertaining and I liked the food. But it is not as much fun for children as HDDR.

Have done luau and HDD. Think kids would like HDD over Luau, Never done the BBQ,

Didn't do BBQ, but extended family that did said cute, but once n done. Enjoyed luau but I'd choose HDR with no hesitation.

Definitely HDDR. We often stay at the Poly, but the only time we will do SOA is if we are doing two dinner shows in one trip. The kids like SOA for "the fire guy" but otherwise much prefer HDDR for both the food and show.

Hoop Dee Doo...we've done it with a 2 year old, 3 year old, and 4 year old, who loved it every time.
