Which should I do?

We are going in April celebrating my 40th b'day and our 19th anniversary. Should I have CM put something about that in the notes on our ressie or in a room request? I know on our trip for my dh's 40th they upgraded us to water view at the Poly. Not that I want something for nothing, but I know that it is often Disneys way to do what they can to help you celebrate. We are already paying for water view at the BC.

Absolutely! You'll get a pin and a call and maybe some balloons! And quite possibley an upgrade! Allow Disney to help you celebrate!!!!!

I can't hurt to have the CM note the special occasions to your reservation. You might get some special attention or something, but do not get hurt if nothing is done. It seems that sometimes things are done for the guests and then other times nothing is done. I guess it depends on the CMs at the resort.
