Which Ship?

OK, dumb question. Which ship are we on, the Magic or the Wonder? Last time we were the Magic...is that always the ship for the 7 day?

The Magic is always 7 days. The Wonder is the 3 and 4 day ship.

The MAGIC is used for all of the 7-night sailings (both Eastern and Western itineraries).

The WONDER makes the 3 and 4-night sailings.

Magic?? was the first ship and was on the 3/4 day trips until the Wonder came on. Others may correct me on this

The maiden voyage of the Disney Magic was in July 1998. The maiden voyage of the Disney Wonder voyage was in August of 1999. Both ships provided 3- and 4-night cruises.

The inaugural 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise of the Disney Magic was in August 2000.

So there was approximately a full year during which both the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder did 3- and 4-night cruises.

I was on the maiden voyage sailing of the Magic on July 30th 1998. Had a fantastic time but they have definitely made improvements since then, both in the food category and entertainment. Let me tell you there was originally no cruise directors (Disney didn't think they needed them) and really no nighttime entertainment.

They have come a long way baby!!!!! I will always feel special being a part of the beginnings of the MAGIC!!!
