We are staying at POP December 2-11, 2005. We have two boys, ages 8 & 11. I am trying to decide which section to request. I don't want to be too close to the pools or food court, but also not so far away that it is a long walk. It is also the week that Pop Warner is at WDW, so a more quiet section would be nice!!

We went in August. I requested the 50's building with a fireworks view on the fourth floor. The walk to the main building was very short and we watched the high fireworks from Illuminations twice from our room!

I would recommend this location.

I think you'd be best with the 70s building, not far at all from the Food Court of 60s pool, but far enough that you don't get the crazyness or noise. Just request being in the building that is the closest :)

Hi, we stayed at the Pop in May, on arrival we were asked which decade we would prefer and as I had read a few reviews we asked for the 50's, preferably a quiet location.

We weren't disappointed! we were on the third floor, In an end room overlooking Hourglass lake. Excellent for views of both Epcot and MK fireworks :earsboy:

The Bowling Pin pool was nearby, but we had no problems with any noise coming from the pool, though I think a room poolside would be a bit noisier. The food court is a short walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pop and would stay there again in the future. :flower:
