Which Santa?

We will be at WDW next week (arriving Wed AM), along with everyone else! I am trying to determine which Santa is best in general (actual Santa plus backdrop) as well as when would make the most sense to fit the visit in. Since we can see Santa at home, my party is not going to want to wait in line for an hour plus!
  • DS Santa - arrival day (Wed) - we're staying at POR and have no definitive plans other than a Storybook ADR at 3-something. I like the idea of a pager, but don't love that we have to stick close by if it's more than an hour or so. How long is this wait usually?
  • Epcot Santa - we'll be in EP Thanksgiving night, but I don't believe he and MC are there then. We'll be there Friday AM too, but will be trying to fit in FEA rope dross, Anna & Elsa M&G, etc before our noon ADR.
  • HS Santa - our time in HS is limited, but we'll be there Sun PM. We could possibly hop over one evening.

DS Santa wait times are usually an hour in the afternoon
Epcot doesn't start their holiday celebration until the 29th
DHS is my favorite backdrop Santa, if you go earlier in the day you'll encounter shorter wait, but it gets long, especially a holiday weekend

Thank you! It sounds like DS Santa may be our best bet, especially if we go in the morning.

Does anyone have a picture of his backdrop?

It was 2016 but we happened upon the DS Santa location about 30 minutes before it opened and they gave us a pager. We got through pretty quickly once it opened. The rest of the family did TOT while my daughter and I waited with my then 6 year old grandaughter.
