Which rooms would be accessible without having to wear a mask?

I have a traveling companion that I need to bring with me to wdw for safety reasons since I am driving 12 hours with a young child. This person has chosen "mask hill" as the one to die on.🙄 I'm trying to figure out which resorts and rooms might allow him to arrive and depart without ever having to wear a mask. I'm thinking a treehouse villa or fort wilderness cabin would work, but I'm also wondering if it would be possible to just go straight from the parking lot to a room at OKW or SS without going into any public spaces. He will not be going into any common areas while we are there. So we'll just basically dump him in the room for a few days while we have fun using our banked points before we lose them. Also, are we allowed to book FW cabins at this time? I see there's availability for cash stays, but not with points.

You may face some challenges.

Disney’s current policy is for masks to be worn in all public areas at all times for all guests over two. This applies to both resorts and the theme parks. The only exceptions are for swimming and for eating and drinking while seated/immobile.

Parking lots and pathways are considered public areas.

Hold breath a sprint! Treehouse area would be great spot. Open air with great social distancing. Perhaps request one along the water to give a nice view while relaxing on the deck.

Unless inside the room, all areas on Disney property require a mask. If your companion is unwilling to follow the rules, which are there for everyone's benefit, perhaps they would be willing to stay somewhere offsite?

We just got home from boardwalk and stayed at the poly in August. We saw lots of people without masks coming and going from their cars to their rooms. As long as it is outside and people are social distanced, you are not going to infect anyone. Maybe stay somewhere with doors that open to the outside - they could go straight from the car to the villa.

As mentioned, all public areas are mask zones, including to and from the cars. Any guest going should expect to wear one or be asked to wear one.

Since we do not allow posts with ideas for ways to violate Disney policy, I am going to shut this down before it gets to that.

You’d have to call MS for renting a cabin at FW with points, but I’d guess they may not be making them available since Disney has not opened all their hotels yet and those are a good option for many cash guests. They are also being used as places people at closed resorts are being moved to.
