I remember reading a while ago that some rooms at DLH have a daybed/sofa. Do you have to request that type of room? Is it available with a king bed? Is it specific to any certain tower? I stayed at Dreams tower last time and had a king bed, but there was no sofa at all. There was a nice stuffed chair w/ottoman though. I will have an extra child on the next trip so will need an extra sleeping arrangement. thanks for the help.

The room we stayed in last week had a couch big enough for a kid to sleep on. I think we were in the dreams tower- it was whatever tower faces DTD. Not the building with the main lobby, nor the one with the waterfall garden. We had a 2 queen/full beds room.

We stayed last week in the Magic tower, which is the main building with the lobby and stores. A room with the daybed had been requested on our reservation, but alas, we only had 2 queen beds. It didn't matter so much, since a member of our party ended up not being able to come, so I didn't ask if an alternate room was available with the day bed. If I were you I would request it at reservation time, and then when you check in confirm that you do indeed have a room with the daybed.

The rooms with couch/daybed are also in the Wonder Tower, too. If you have no Tower preference, then you may have more options.

Keep in mind the couches are actually twin sized beds with big cushions that make them into couches. Just take off the cushions and the bedding for them is up in the closet.

(I had one a couple weeks ago.)

Does anyone have pictures of the daybed with the pillows off? How big is it really?

Awesome, a daybed is exactly what i need! I will keep my tower options open as long as I can get the daybed, though I loveeee Dreams tower! Thanks everyone!:thumbsup2

Here is a picture of the daybed it does have the pillows on it but you can see the size pretty good my 13 year old DS sleep on it comfortably and here is a picture of the twin size roll away also that is free just ask for it...This room was a double queen in the dreams tower...
