Which Rooms are Standard View at AKL?

Which rooms are considered standard view at AKL? Are all of Ostrich and Giraffe Trail standard, or only the rooms facing the parking lot? Are some of the rooms in the lobby standard, are some pool or savannah view? Are Zebra and Kudu trail savannah and pool view only? Anyone know what room numbers are standard?

We stayed there standard view last month and faced the parking lot, which was fine. But i'm wondering if we stay there standard again, if I can request a "better" standard location. Thanks!

Not positive...but I think the standard view rooms are just those on Giraffe and Ostrich that are overlooing the front of the resort/ parking lot area.


You can get some pool views on Giraffe, but they are not considered standard views...just pool view. On Zebra trail you have the savannah views, pool views, deluxe savannah, deluxe pool views, and even concierge...but alas, no standard views there.

As for Kudu, I'm going to guess it is only savannah views (Sunset and Arusha).
