Which room do I request? POR

I am going to POR May 7-9th for a quick trip with sister and three year old daughter--- we are Florida residents--

I have never stayed here before and will use my own car to drive places-- which room would you request?? Or do you like more or prefer??

I would like to be near a quiet pool---

First you should figure out which of the two sections of the resort you would prefer. There is Magnolia Bend, which is themed like old Southern mansions, and Alligator Bayou, which has more of a backwoods, Tom Sawyer feel to it.

I stayed in Parterre Place in the mansion section. It was a two minute walk to a quiet pool, and about five to the lobby. The parking lot was right outside too. The only thing that would have been a hike was he main pool, but we never went. Have fun planning!
