Which Room/Building to request at POR?

We will be leaving in less than two weeks for POR. We will be staying in a room with a trundle bed and would like to be close to the main pool and the food court. We have paid for a water view room. Can anybody make any suggestions as to what room and or building we should request?

Try asking for building 14. It's close to the bus stop, the pool and the food court. We stayed there last fall and we also had a trundle bed.

I've got to warn you, in my experience POR has not been great about honoring my requests. I've requested Alligator Bayou twice-got Mansions both times. Requested upper floor three times, got first floor 2 of the 3 times. So don't get your heart set on a particular room/area. BTW, even though my requests weren't always met, I've always loved POR, wherever I end up!

Buildings 14 or 15 are good.

We usually fax in our request directly to the resort and have always been placed where we asked. I would suggest you save your money for the waterview and get a standard. The waterviews are not that great and can be the quiet pool as well as the river.

We stayed in building 26 and it was not far at all to the main building and not that far to unload the van from the parking area. We requested that building on the top floor and got all requests. It was hard lifting a stroller with a sleeping toddler but was worth it. We faced gardens and paths but was very pretty, considering we were hardly there.


The whole family
