Which room/bldg to request for POR???

We are traveling the first of Sept and staying at the POR. We have never stayed before so could use some advice on what to request in our bookings? I think I like the mansions better. We want a room with a pretty veiw but not too far away since we have a 2 year old. What would you suggest for the best veiws and such out there??

I need to make my request tomorrow and have no idea what to ask for..lol Thanks so much for any info!

When I stayed at the POR, we were in Oak Manor in the mansion section. It was a great location. Our room had a lovely view of a courtyard. It was maybe a two minute walk to the bus stop, and five minutes to the food court and main pool.

I would ask for the arcadian building, it is right across from Ole Man Island where the pool and playground are and behind that is a bridge that connects to the main building, plus there is a bus stop right there by the Arcadian that is the first bus stop at the resort. We loved it! Ask for a court yard view so you wont get tsuck looking at the parking lot.. None of it is guaranteed tho but just ask anyway..
