Which Rides & Shows Have Got To Go?

I could live without the Country Bear Jamboree BUT I think the holiday one is a hoot!

I'm not wild about Living Seas.

My kids still enjoy Indiana Jones BUT how about a little variety to the script?

I am always game for something new! :goodvibes

How about Space Mountain? I love the ride, but it has enough jerks in it to keep every chiropractor in Florida rich. It should be revamped to smooth out the ride--maybe add a few more thrills--but keep the original atmoshpere.

Also, Country Bears was rated the worse ride at MK by our family. I like the rug idea.

I wish they would stop changing things and just leave them alone!

The old Tiki Bird show was way better than the new one! I miss the Penny Arcade and Main Street Cinema on Main Street!
Tomorrowland Transit Authority was much better when it was "WEDway People Mover" and had the more informative announcer instead of the silly one they have now! The scene with the alien getting her hair done has got to be one of the most bizzare things in all of WDW!
And sorry Buzz....I"d rather have Wings!
Communicore was a million times better than Innoventions!
And not only is "Drew Carey in the Dark" lame, they replaced Chevy Chase, Martin Short and a great David Letterman pre-show to make way for it!

If I were to change anything...
The film at the begining of Living Seas is downright painful! Where's Ariel or Nemo!?
Stitch is confusing and pretty lame!
How about putting something...ANYTHING in the entire second half of Spaceship Earth!?
I also never need to see the water tank demonstration onthe BackLot Tour as long as I live!!!

MK: Snow White needs an update.

EPCOT: Spaceship Earth used to be one of my favorites, but I was really disappointed in it when I went back in 2003.. Keep the ball, but change the ride. Universe of Energy should go too. The addition of Ellen helped, but not enough to keep it. The Living Seas could use an update too, although I haven't seen the Nemo stuff.

MGM: I'll agree with Sounds Dangerous. I'm a big Star Wars fan but I did not enjoy Star Tours. I'm surprised they couldn't come up with anything better.

AK: everything here was new to me on the last trip, so nothing seems tired for me yet. :>

Not bashing Disney! Not bashing others' opinions (so please no flames if someone does not like COP!)

Just curious on other peoples' opinions & thought this could be fun.

Which Rides & Shows in Disney should be pulled out or changed?
Which ones do you skip?
What would you change?

I think they should pull out OR change the new Journey Into Your Imagination, change the new Tiki Bird show back to the original, FORGET Innoventions...nothing ever works in there, change Honey I Shrunk the Audience to a more recent film or something totally new, get rid of the Magic Carpets of Aladdin...they are totally obstructing the beauty of Adventureland and we don't need another ride that goes in a circle like Dumbo, and kill the tack roadside-themed section of Animal Kingdom (I can't remember the official name).

What we skip is bascially what I mentioned above. All in all, we are very very happy with the attractions at Disney, but there are some instances where I feel like they have lost the original, true, imagineering spirit that Walt started.

Whew. That felt good getting that off my chest.

The Great Movie Ride at MGM. I love movies, esp. the old classics and they could have done so much more with this attraction. I was looking forward to riding this, and it turned out to be completely lame. It was the one attraction at Disney where I felt I wasted my time!

I think The Hall of Presidents is the most boring show ever! My dad wanted to see the show really badly so we did. My mom and I slept through the whole thing while my dad excitedly watched it. lol :goodvibes

Tom Sawyer's Island!! Oh, you guys are harsh!!! My DD loved that, we couldn't get her away. . . I agree about the Tiki Room, but DH loved it. Go figure. . .

I vote to bring back the
MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE ...
spectromagic does nothing for me and last time I did see it (1/04) ... it looked tired

Main St. Electrial Parade is a classic and timeless ... saw that when they brought it back to WDW in 1999 ... as wonderfull as i remembered as a kid.

MK--Timekeeper, Country Bear Jamboree,
AK--Tarzan (glad it's going!)
MGM--Sounds Dangerous, Magic of Disney Animation (it is actually worse since it reopened!)

Sadly the Tiki Room must go or get a total revamping. It seems like the imagineers don't have enough imagination. I haven't been on stitch but its basically Alien which was basically Mission to Mars. And with Tiki they just threw in Yagu and Zazu and away they went. They have the money, take advanage of new technology and update these attractions. As for the Jungle Cruise they should do something to honor the Jungle Book which has its 40th aniversary in 2007. We love Indiana Jones but the attraction great points regarding the script were made. Also now they have two stunt shows. Maybe they should rip it down and put the Indiana Jones ride like they have in DL I heard that is a huge favorite. Lastly the Swiss Family house. I'm doing enough walking no need to climb through that thing with a 6 and a 3 year old.
