Which restaurants will there always be a 100% chance of never going as a walk-in?

Out of all WDW restaurnats which ones do you think guests will have no chance of going as walk-in? When I say that I am referring to locations where this is 100% chance of not walking in no matter the day and year, because there is 0.05% chance of walking into other locations.

Anyway my votes goes to Victoria & Alberts and the California Grill.

Hoo, boy, this is right up there with 'how many angels can dance on the head of a pin'.

No one on the DISboards is going to know the answer to this question, unless someone happens to be a CM with access to a database with historical records of restaurant bookings.

I think you can say that certain restaurants have a very small chance of having tables open for walkups. But 100%? On any given night, ANY restaurant COULD have an open table. People do cancel ADRs, even at V&As.

You are correct that someone could cancel an ADR at Victora & Alberts at the last minute. However generally how many people would dress up, drive to the Grand Floridian and hope for a no show so they can take their ADR?

I would think on any given night, there might be individuals wearing dressy enough clothing to valet park at the Contemporary, discover their Concourse steakhouse reservations have been lost, and proceed to board the monorail to the Grand Floridian in the hopes of securing a table at V&A... then spending an hour or two at MK as a nightcap...

.002% is still less than 100%

:)

Nothing's 100%... there's always pixie dust. :tink: But both CRT and Le Cellier would be very hard to get in as a walk up...and the Hoop De Doo, that would be a miracle (don't know if you even could walk up, but you could try calling 48 hours in advance, the latest people could cancel without penalty).

Actually we have walked up to LeCellier--twice!
But we go at 'off' season & usually eat upon the restaurant's 1st opening or around 2 pm to 4 pm

Well, the character meals would a lot less easy, for instance CRT.
Since we are flexible & go during 'slow' periods, we ususally don't make ADRs, but even we actually had to make an ADR to get into the CP. :rotfl:

I'd never say never - it depends on the season, and if there was a downturn in the economy, etc. Le Cellier is tough to get. CRT. I'd guess the Coral Reef as well, they tend to get booked up early (though I haven't been there to try walking in!) Ohana gets VERY busy, and it can be a long wait even with a PS. And really, anything in the Magic Kingdom, there is often a sign saying that all tables are booked for the day.

During free dining, a lot of the restaurants are tougher to get. But you can pretty much always walk into Morocco and the Biergarten. Teppanyaki is definitely not an easy-walk in during at least some times of the year.

I've walked into pretty much all the places that Denise has listed.... so I agree, never say never!!!

Well I have to vote for L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante after Sept 1st, 2007

That one will be 100% impossible!!!

Le Cellier
Chef Mickeys
CP
Cape May dinner
Cali Grill

If we're counting "show" type eating...Hoop Dee Doo gets my vote - at least at 98.5% certain. We were there during off season and even then they were turning folks away.

What about CP for dinner? We've only ever made ADR but that may be higher on the list?

The way you phrase your question means there are no restaurants that fit that category. 100% never, ever, ever-doesn't exist.

None give you a 100% chance of walkups not getting in, would be my guess.

But, it doesn't matter if someone would actually show up as a walk in-the question is-is there a chance of being able to.

Since I have gotten up twice in the past at 6:45 to make reservations only to be told the day is already filled and had to call back the next day, my guess would be . . . . . . . Cinderella's round table--breakfast.:confused3

Most likely a guest that has an ADR at Citricos, who was unable to get an ADR at V&A, and checked with V&A before being seated at Citricos. Doesn't V&A print the guests name on the menu? Will they accept a walkup even if they have an opening?

During the slower seasons I'd expect walk ups have a shot even at popular restaurants like Le Cellier and CRT.

If this is intended to be a "trick" question Ariel's is the answer. This restaurant is only open for private functions and as such will never accommodate a walk up.
