Which restaurants near Poly offer carry-out menus?

Staying 9 nights at Poly and not likely to be in parks at dinner time. We have 4 little ones ages 1-5 and want to keep dinners simple (only one dinner ADR for the stay). We are staying CL so those munchies will be enough for some in our family but not others. No car, but someone can take Uber to go get food if necessary.

I know we could take the monorail over to GF or Contemporary for QS options but if we don't have to leave the resort on some nights that would be great. Thinking about doing 'Ohana room service and ordering pizza delivery. But after that I'm stumped. Any easy ideas?

You have a QS there in the Poly. It's called Captain Cook's.

The Disney TS restaurants don't do carry-out, so I think you may be asking mostly about offsite restaurants that you can go to with Uber. The Orlando Attractions thread might have a lot more info about offsite restaurants.

Yes I forgot to mention that I am aware of Captain Cook’s. I just don’t think seven nights of their menu would work for our family.

7 nights of eating carry out in a hotel room will probably also get old.

It isn't cheap, but the room service menu is pretty extensive. If leaving is a hassle, that's probably your best option. There is a small table in the club level rooms so you can have the kids eat there.

We did take out from Captain Cooks and it always took forever - I waited close to 30 minutes more than once. When we ate there (on the same trip), it didn't take anywhere near as long to get our food. Take out was very frustrating. Maybe it was a fluke, but if I stayed at Poly again, I would probably not plan to grab take out too often.

Room service is going to be your best option, along with simply taking the kids to the QS around the monorail. I don't know if I would bother waiting for the QS to go to take back to the room.

I haven't used Ubereats in Orlando, but we have used it in Atlanta. May be a reasonable option for your family (you don't have to go get the food, the food comes to you!).

I don't know what all the CL longhouses are for Poly but think Tonga and Hawaii are ones.
Tonga is closest to the GCH so would be an easy walk to pick up meals; I'm sure you could do the same for Hawaii.
Why not give a call to the CL Concierge number? Seems like this would be an easy question for them to respond to as most concierges maintain books and files dedicated to eateries as well as entertainment.

It would be useful if you knew what kind of cuisine/food you'd like to eat before you call although I'm sure they'll be happy to tell you one by one what's available.

I think the telephone # is 407. 939.7777

It is a LONG drive from the Poly to anywhere off property. You are better off just using the monorail resort QS locations. The two best ones are Gasparilla at GF and Contempo Cafe at CR. Capt Cook's is kind of awful, and they are SO SLOW there! There is also a pool bar at Poly by the Oasis pool. They have food there. There are also pool bars with food at the pool areas of GF and CR, easily accessible to non guests. You will have plenty of variety.

As DLgal pointed out, it is a long drive from Poly to anywhere off property (Poly is about as deep into WDW property as you can get). Room service, Capt. Cook's (which is super chaotic, unfortunately) and the monorail QS will be your best bets. Pizza delivery could work one night and the pool grill at Poly. Maybe consider one more TS at Kona which is super casual? It looks like Uber Eats does deliver to Poly, but the restaurant choices seem a bit limited.

Unless OP booked a suite, they will be in Hawaii. CL staff will not recommend anything that isn't WDW related. They are not a true concierge like you would find at other hotels off property.

4 little ones under 5! What a blessing, but I bet you need a night out from time to time.

I know this isn't what you asked, but you may want to consider in-room babysitting for a couple hours so you and DH can have a dinner alone one evening. You could feed the kids from the CL offerings and go to Kona or Poly Sushi Bar if you don't want to go too far away. Information and pricing can be found on the Disney website.

Your response piqued my interest so I gave them a call. It seems like policy has changed a little since your last visit. The CL concierge recommended I use UberEats via mobile app being sure I had the zip code for the hotel so I could see what off site restaurants are participating in the program. She also asked what type of food I liked to eat. Since I dinna know what Surgie2 wanted I left that for her to answer, LOL.
Nice to know the CL concierges are acting like other hotels' personnel.

That's awesome! Thanks for checking!

Lol thanks for that thought - actually we are Nana and Papa of the 4 grandkids and we are giving the parents a night out with Lilo's Playhouse for the older three while parents do an Illuminations cruise. They are giving us a different night out at Jiko's so the adults should all be pretty relaxed...in theory.

thanks so much - very helpful! We have used Door Dash at home in Chicago but I don't think the Orlando one delivers to the resorts. So good to know about Uber Eats.

How about an Uber or taxi to Publix for bread, deli meat or any of their hot items like rotisserie chicken, chips and fruit. There are 2 Publix just off Disney property out the back gate.

Since you desire to eat in room, I think your best bet would be to order food from Garden Grocer so you can make simple things for the kids to eat. If you go to Publix, their deli sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, etc. are delicious.
