DH said his favorite meal on our last trip was the breakfast buffet during EMM at MK. So, I wanted to book 1 or 2 breakfast ADR's on our down days in August. We will be staying at The Poly. Unfortunately Kona Cafe's breakfast menu doesn't interest me (I know I'm in the minority), and we're not into character meals, so I'm on the fence about 'Ohana. Any other suggestions? I looked at some photos of The Wave's breakfast buffet, and it looks great. Also WCC has a breakfast skillet that looks good. Any opinions? TIA!

I enjoy the Wave. I have ate CS at Captain Cooks, just a normal CS breakfast but with Tonga Toast :) I wasn't a fan of 1900 Park Faire. Next week I'll be doing Trails End brunch for the first time, I'm looking forward to that.

We are not fans of Kona either. For breakfast we love WCC, Trail’s End, and Boma.
A lot of people love it but we were not crazy about The Wave.
Thank you! Can you tell me what you didn't like about The Wave? It's so hard to find reviews for breakfast.

Thank you! I got Mickey Waffles at Captain Cook's last trip, you can't go wrong with them! I'll have to look into Trails End, thanks! Enjoy your brunch!

The breakfast skillet at WCC is probably our favorite breakfast at WDW. Food is really good, and refills come out fresh. Cheddar biscuits with sawmill gravy are outstanding. The value, at $18 per adult, is hard to match anywhere on property as well.

The Wave has a very good breakfast buffet as well.

We enjoy Wave, Boma for buffets. We've done 'Ohana and Garden grill as character breakfasts, like Ohana better. I'd like to try Trails End breakfast as we like their dinner buffet.

Since you will be at Poly, you could easily get to the Grand Floridian Cafe. It is nothing special, but there are some decent options and I much prefer it over the Wave.

I have honestly been underwhelmed by all of my meals at the Wave. I would rather eat at Contempo Cafe.

Thank you everyone! We are going to do WCC for sure. Now I'm just on tge fence between Boma and The Wave. We are doing a dinner at Boma, so not sure I want to go twice (even if for different meals). Also, DH is not much of an adventurous eater. I am though, so I think I'd like to try Boma. The Wave is just so conveniently located, and photos of the buffet look so good. :rolleyes2

WCC is an awesome choice! You will love it! :hyper:
I would definitely recommend Boma for breakfast. Even though you will be going twice, the breakfast offerings are delicious, and of good variety.

Enjoy your trip!

A lot of times we do both breakfast and dinner at Boma in a trip sometimes even the same day. It has a nice variety of simple food and adventurous.

We found other buffets have a lot more items/better selection and the food was just ok. I don’t remember the cost.
Thank you!

Thanks everyone, DH and I decided on WCC and Boma. I wasn't even considering Boma in the beginning, but after all the recommendations for Boma, we looked up food photos online, and I was sold! Thank you so much everyone :)
