I am working on our dining schedule right now. We will not be on the disney dining plan. We will be staying at the boardwalk villas and want to eat at a sit down restaurant in boardwalk area one evening. No kids this trip, just DH and I. All opinions would be appreciated.

Well, it depends on what you want to eat. If you want to eat casual food Big River Grille is a good choice. It's bar/tavern/brewery food. If you want something adventurous there is Kouzzina. It's food from Chef Cat Cora of Iron Chef. Its Mediterranean food. There is also the ESPN restaurant, but that's a sports bar atmosphere. If you want to head over to the Yacht and Beach there are Yachtsman and Captains Grille. Both good steak places. Swan and Dolphin has Shulas (amazing steak) Blue Zoo (haven't ate there yet) There is an Italian place and a Sushi Place too. Hope this helps!

Bluezoo and Il Mulino are both romantic and serve excellent food. They'd be perfect for a just-the-two-of-you dinner and are only a stone's throw away from your villa.

Two adults looking for an adult meal experience at the Boardwalk? There is only one answer to this one: Flying Fish.

Kouzzina is nice, but it's got nothing on Flying Fish. It's one of the best restaurants on property. It's a little pricey, being a signature and all, but it's well worth it. Don't pass it up!

I would consider Flying Fish to be the best answer, too. Although Yachtsman Steakhouse is also very good.

I would recommend Flying Fish first, followed by Yachtsman. I've heard great things regarding Blue Zoo and plan on trying it in May for our final night during our Star Wars the weekend visit.

Big River is good and won't break the bank. Sitting outside if the weather cooperates is a great place to people watch. We also really like the Yachtsmen for more romantic dining. The food at Flying Fish was good but the tables are too close together. Also make sure to visit the Belle Vue Lounge at the Boardwalk. Quiet and relaxing. Say Hi to Tim and Alan for me!!!!!!!!!! Have a great trip!

I like Flying Fish at BWI, Yachstmans Steakhouse at YC, and bluezoo at the Dolphin.

bluezoo will probably be the most 'adult' atmosphere.

Flying Fish is amazing, but can get fairly loud.

Yachtsman is great, but feel somewhat casual.

Bluezoo is my favorite for restaurant and I also love their lounge. Il Mulino, then Flying Fish, then Shulas, then Yachtsman would follow. I also like Kimonos for sushi.

Another vote for the Swalphin restaurants...Shula's, Bluezoo. Just better quality in my opinion than the Disney resorts. That said, Yachtsman usually delivers a good experience...

My top 3 in order: Bluezoo, Il Mulino, Flying Fish

I am so excited to hear this....we are going to try this for the first time in January. I have been reading nonstop good reports about Flying Fish that I decided that we would have to go check it out ourselves too :goodvibes.

Another vote for Flying Fish. We haven't tried Bluezoo, but we did NOT like Il Mulino. It may have been an off day, since many people love it, but it wasn't for us. We've eaten at FF four times, two times perfect, two times we had some little issues, but FF with issues is still better than most other places.

Even the steak at FF is fantastic for non-fish eaters, but the last two times I had the ahi tuna (sushi quality), rare, and oh boy, I could go for some of that! Melt in your mouth goodness.

Boardwalk area, 2 adults, no kids. My order would be:
Il Mulino
Shula's
Flying Fish
BlueZoo
Yachtsman

If price is a factor, then I'd say ESPN CLub or Big River.

Love the Boardwalk area dining options!

My recommendation is Bluezoo first, followed by:
Il Mulino
Kimonos

I do differ from the rest in saying that I thought Flying Fish was extremely overrated, especially with a far superior, better service, more romantic Bluezoo just right down the walkway.

My top five in the BW area (in order):

bluezoo
Il Mulino
Flying Fish
Shula's
Yachtsman Steakhouse

We took a break from Epcot and went to ESPN Club for lunch one day. Great food and a very relaxed, casual atmosphere. We also like that they didn't take reservations because it allowed us to wander over whenever we felt like it. There was also no wait. I would avoid going when football was on though because we went back to watch Sunday football and it was much more crowded.

DW and I recommend in order:
1. Flying Fish
2. Flying Fish
3. Flying Fish

Just our opinions.
