MY husband is doing my friend and her bf a favor by doing their taxes for them on the computer. Normally they would go to H&R Block or somewhere to have them done. DH wouldn't take $$ from them, so they want to take us out for dinner while we're in WDW. Where should we go? I want to go somewhere nice, but not too expensive. Suggestions? We'll be staying at the All Star Movies and won't have a rental car so it has to be somewhere within WDW transportation.

THanks!

Melissa

If you enjoy a buffet dinner the CP at MK would be a good choice. At MGM we enjoy Mama Melrose's love the wood fired pizza. For a great steak I would suggest LeCellier at Epcot.RFC is another favorite of ours at AK or DTD. :wizard: :wave2:

I second the Crystal Palace. Great bang for the buck. Or Alfredo's in EPCOT, Mexico in EPCOT or Brown Derby in MGM.

The biergarten in Germany, or Boma at AKL are excellent and great values.

I agree the Biergarten would be a perfect spot. Also Chefs de France would be very nice. How about an out of the way spot at one of the resorts...Olivia's at OKW or Shutters at Caribbean Beach. ::MinnieMo

Based on the fact that I just had my taxes done by H&R Block and know how much they charge, here is some suggestions for midprice meals (at least for Disney :)

1. Mama Melrose, decent italian food and cheaper than Alfredo's
2. O hana, all you can eat and the food is tasty
3. Boma's, all you can eat however checking in can be a nightmare
4. Nine Dragon's. I think it has decent Chinese food but others may disagree
5. Rose and Crown.
6. Spoodles. A restaurant that I don't to nearly enough.
7. Concourse Steakhouse. Hard to get a steak place on this list
8. Whispering Canyon Cafe. All you can eat and food is good.
9. House of Blues. A new found favorite of mine.

Note: the above was not in any particular order, and my criteria was that the average price of the entrees were were under or near $20. Obviously the all you can eat place don't quite fit that mode but their costs are similiar to the above criteria.

If you aren't going to a park I'd say Boma or House of Blues if price is a concern and Artist Point or California Grill if it isn't.

'Ohana (easy to get to in the Polynesian hotel, just use the monorail)
