Which restaurant would u buy a park ticket 2 eat at?

I agree with BOMA at AKL! It is FABULOUS! Our fave restaurant anywhere. I want to eat there twice sometime, but never can squeeze it in. I would never buy a park ticket to eat, but since you won it, I would go more with the park you most want to visit. If I had to pick 1 park, I would go to Epcot for the World Showcase and eat there, based on what ethnicity of food you prefer. You can view menus at allears.net.

I am already leary - what was I thinking, keeping my fingers crossed that it is legit!

There are 1 day tickets that are legit (hope yours is!). I earned one by volunteering for the marathon weekend and wasn't able to use it before it expired, so I sold it on ebay and got about $5 less than a regular one-day pass. I suspect that many one-day tickets may have been earned by volunteering for events.

Maybe I bought yours, although I got mine for about 15 less, not much savings but something:rolleyes1. Anyhow, still don't know why I bought it since the plan was to skip Disney, but I got it in my head that it would be nice to go to Epcot to eat at Tutto by myself and enjoy an evening there although it will be an expensive evening:scared1:. I've been trying for days to switch to Le Cellier, but no luck. Am disappointed to read so many poor reviews of Tutto Italia. I'd been dreaming about Tutto's since last year and have imagined a lovely setting with high ceilings and great food. I think I will be further disappointed if I go and the meal turns out to be mediocre. However, I have read poor reviews for almost every Disney restaurant so I'm still trying to gauge if Tutto is really just average????

Tutto.. nope. I'd totally skip it. I can deal with Olive Garden food, but tutto we all thought was absolutely terrible!

May not be worth to add dining plan just for that meal. depends where you eat I suppose.
But I'd recommend perhaps eating at a resort.
OR... if like you mentioned, would be nice to go to Epcot and ride Soarin', etc, again - why not do Epcot, then head out the international gateway for a break and have dinner at Cape May Cafe? We really love their buffet - and that's with us only eating off the nonseafood side! Not seafood fans, but still had tons of great food we really enjoyed!

We LOVE Tutto! But, I'd definitely add the dining plan if I was planning to eat there. It is $$$. We think the food, service, atmosphere - everything is wonderful! :goodvibes

If I had a 1 day ticket and was going to 1 park for that day and wanted a good meal I would pick Epcot. There are a lot of TS Restaurants to choose from. Most are good. I think you should decide what kind of food you would like to try and choose that restaurant.

As far as what others say, I can tell you I dislike certain restaurants at Epcot while other love them. Some other say avoid certain restaurants yet I enjoy them. So it come down to what kind of food you like.

My 2 favorites are Chefs de France and Tutto Italia, but do enjoy many of the other restaurants.

I would say if you've been thinking about it and really wanting to go you should give it a try... otherwise you may always wish you did. Although it's nice to get opinions about restaurants like the others have said you are going to get MANY different opinions. I have found that my thoughts about restaurants sometimes can change from year to year as well since sometimes we have bad experiences at a restaurant we normally love (with the exception of Boma where we've never had a bad experience). I've generally not heard great reviews about Tony's Town Square yet it was one of the best meals of our trip last year. Ohana is always one of our must dos and we love it there yet last year we weren't happy with the food (which seemed under cooked) and just didn't taste as good or seasoned like it normally does. So my advice would be to go for it since you have the one day ticket and that's the restaurant you had your heart set on... and form your own opinion of it. Good luck with whatever you decide.. and enjoy your trip :)

I would never buy an $80 park ticket (or even a cheaper one) just to get into the park to eat at a restaurant. There are really good restaurants in the resorts (many of them better than the park restaurants). But if you are speaking figuratively I have a hard time thinking any of the in-park restaurants are worth that.

Since you won the ticket, does it expire? Regular one-day WDW tickets don't expire. If it doesn't, I'd hang onto it until I could actually use it for a park day. If you have to use it for something on THIS trip, I think the best restaurants foodwise may be Brown Derby and Bistro de Paris. I am not going to have a lot of persons on this board agreeing with that though. If I had to use it I'd go to Epcot and hang out at La Cava del Tequila. Wouldn't need the dining plan to do that, either.

I do not think any of the restaurants at MK are worth using your ticket to spend time eating in. If you choose MK, eat at a nearby resort and just use the ticket to have a half-day in the park doing park type stuff instead of a restaurant.

I'd rather eat in a resort hotel restaurant than buy a one day ticket just to eat in a park. I would either go to the park to ride rides, or not go at all.

Of course, this may be because I believe the resort food is better than the park food.
