Which restaurant to ditch?

Hey everyone, we're having a bit of a dining dilema, planning for our trip to the world in December.

In short, we're trying to choose three restaurants but only have two slots left to fill; one lunch and one dinner. It's a question of which one do we ditch?

Restaurants in question are...

• Bistro de Paris
• Chefs des France
• Tutto Italia

Any thoughts??
:)

I've never been, but either Bistro de Paris or Chefs des France. That way you get an Italian meal and a French meal! :)

I would say for value, get rid or Tutto Italia. Pasta is cheap to make so why pay high dollars for it. Also you probably eat it at home already.

Lately, it seems like the other poster said, the value of Tutto Italia has really gone down. Honestly, the serving portions are relatively small and the food is nothing to get excited over I don't think. However, since you have two French restaurants, maybe get rid of one of those and do Tutto Italia. That way you experience the cuisine from two different countries instead of one.

I too was going to say one of the French ones as well. Of the 3 we have only eaten at TI, twice now. They do offer more than just pasta. We would return to TI, if that helps any.

Here's some pictures that may inspire you. Our meal from last year (my DM's 70th birthday):goodvibes

Tagliata di Manzo - with fennel and arugula salad $36 My steak dinner. It was okay but I usually only eat filet.

Sogliano in "Tecia" - breaded filet of sole, lemon, caper relish $29 My DM's entree-she said it was very good.

Chefs has been our favorite of late. Recently we've been disappointed with Tutto Italia - service was good, not the food was just ok.

We did Tutto Italia for lunch last August and were not impressed. Nothing on the menu really jumped out and the food was just so so. That being said, lots of people really like it. Plus, our 3 year old was in a bad mood before the meal and that probably didn't help the experience. Best meal ever- Mama Melorose's two years ago- our then 2 year old slept through the whole meal.

Thanks guys, some useful info there. Thanks for the pics disneydaz, we really appreciate that :thumbsup2

We do intend on visiting all 3 restaurants at some point, it's just a case of which ones we do on this trip. We initially had Bistro and Chef's in our plan, but were concerned it might seem too samey going to France twice, albeit in different restaurants. Hence our thinking about Tutto to split it up a bit.

I guess we're ultimately trying to decide which of the Frenchies to do this time and which one to do next IF going to France twice in the same trip is likely to feel repetitive. If however the experience is totally different in both restaurants then we may end up sticking with the plan and doing Bistro and Chefs in the same trip and Tutto next time.

What think you??

I would do Tutto and one of the French restaurants...are you on the dining plan? If so that would make a difference since Bistro is 2 credits. If you're not..I would do Tutto and Bistro and save Chefs for next time.
