Hi all.

We (DW and I, plus five adults and 2 kids) are visiting DLP Monday to Friday in four weeks - :cheer2:

We have as a group booked cafe mickey and plan to do rainforest as everone likes these. I want to book a meal just for DW and I for one evening go get away from the family and spent a little romantic time together.

I was thiinking of Walt's but I think the short notice may be an issue, last time we visited we only really did family meals, Auberge, Nuggets etc. so was after your advise on one romantic meal.

Problems are it's only four weeks away and we havn't got a huge budget but otherwise we like all kinds of food but maybe the setting is as important as the food for this one?????

Thanks for your time

Blue Lagoon has to be the most romantic restaurant setting in the park.

Or I'd suggest the California Grill at the DLH or the restaurants at HNY or NPBC.

The most lovely and romantic restaurant is the Californian Grill in our humble opinion.

I'd say Blue Lagoon, but depending on what time the park closes that may have to be a lunch time venue.

I haven't been to California Grill yet so can't comment on that but I think the Blue Lagoon is a very very romantic setting  (even when you have kids in tow!!)

oooooh mr disneyman did say he wanted to take me to the blue lagoon lol.

Does it only serve fish food?

California Grill, but it's expensive (and a little :snooty: )
Blue Lagoon is Romantic. Walt's is pretty Romantic, in a Victorian Way.

I think Restaurant Manhattan is very adult-like. I haven't been there since the menu-change, but I like teh setting of the restaurant. It's very elegant.

I like the look of the Manhattan Restaurant - but didnt like the old menu, so i'm looking forward to seeing whats on the new one.

As everyone else has said Blue Lagoon has a romantic setting

No, they serve food for humans too

But seriously, while they specialise and fish and seafood, they do other stuff too. My Step-Mum hates fish but had a lovely chicken curry when we she went.

It's a truly magical restaurant, our favourite anywhere in the world.

DH had the chicken curry both times and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm sure someone had the Jamaican beef and said that was very nice, was it Jill??

The creole rice with seafood and chicken is also very good (the seafood consists of 1 mussle and 1 prawn)

It was me and yes it was lovely :goodvibes

not forgetting the "Sugar Coated Expedition" dessert, well apart from the baked banana, I wasn't fussed on that. :cloud9:

We're trying to find somewhere romantic for a meal too.... Struggling a bit though. Walts is closed when we're there, and there's not a lot DBF can eat at The Blue Lagoon, Yacht Club, etc.... Might spy on this thread a bit for ideas!
