Which restaurant on property has the best Scrapple?

IF YA AIN'T DUTCH, YA AIN'T MUCH!!
Eastern Pennsylvania girl :thumbsup2 born and raised!! (Residing in the sweltering, humid, sticky summer state of Texas.) I love scrapple! I haven't seen it in Disney; however, I have never actually been looking for it. This is a great post. Thanks OP!

Nice. I am also in hot and humid Texas - Houston. From NEPA - although I was born in Wilmington DE. Raised in the poconos area.

I also live in the Houston (suburbs) area. All of my grandparent's family is from the NE region of PA too - Shamokin, Ringtown, Frackville, Pottsville, etc. What I wouldn't give to be enjoying their weather today instead of ours. I'd could also go for some scrapple if we're being honest.

awesome. Yep, I am from Berwick area. RIght where 80 and 81 meets pretty much near Hazleton. I live in the Cypress area of Houston - was living in Bellaire. We have a lot of people down here from that region. Yuengling beer will be here soon. We also eat scrapple every now and then. Not many choices in the grocery stores here. We do have Taylor pork roll everywhere. Also, great hoagies and cheesesteaks at Vito's Famous.

Had breakfast for dinner tonight from our local diner with a nice slab of scrapple. Always makes me think of my grandpa. Scrapple is one of the less questionable things he ate. Lehigh Valley, PA! PA Dutch. And yes, if you ain't dutch, you ain't much.

I always eat scrapple with syrup, my husband's family uses jam.

Lehigh Valley

My husband and I tried Scrapple for the first time last week while we were on a quick weekend trip and stayed in Intercourse/ Lancaster PA.

I heard they once had a Scrapple Character meal, but the characters kept getting sick seeing the scrapple, so they scrapped it.

You'll have a better chance with a restaurant that serves Scrabble. :)

Can't even find good Chicken and Waffles outside of that region of PA and the surrounding area. Everything down south is fried chicken wings and dry waffles. Blah.

No restaurant, unfortunately, but they could make a darn good southeastern PA F&W booth, IMHO - scrapple, chow chow, chicken corn soup, apple butter, shoo fly pie?

Would that be chow-chow plain, or chow-chow with the whiteish yellow pickling juice?

Can't do Philadelphia without Taylor's Pork Roll !

Expanding a bit to add Lettuce with hot bacon dressing, and a shot of Boilo from the coal region north of Allentown.

I always think of PA as being up north, but some of that is surely southern, particularly chow chow and apple butter.
