1) Yak and Yeti for Lunch
2) Tusker House for Breakfast
3) Tusker House for Lunch

This will be a new dining experience regardless of which one we book. We like both types of food but wonder which one is a better dining experience. Thank you for your opinions. I just can't decide:)

It’s not a TS but I always love eating at Flame Tree BBQ. The ribs there are AMAZING and the BBQ sauce is just too awesome, and you get quite a big portion of ribs, beans and a corn muffin for about $10.

I haven't tried the Tusker House since it became a buffet, but when it was a counter service the food was really good so I assume the buffet is the same way. I've had lunch at the Yak & Yeti before though and it was extremely good. I can't wait to go back in September. I definitely think Yak and Yeti is a new must-do every trip.

I've eaten breakfast at Tusker House and it is a really good buffet. It is much better than Donald's Breakfastsaurus was. They have some unusual foods (along with the regular breakfast buffet stuff) and it does not seem to be crowded like other buffets.

Yak & Yeti I had a bad experience with in May, but I think it was more the ditzy waitress I had. She brought my appetizer out with my entree. I asked her to take the entree back and then had to flag her down to get my entree back. When she brought it back, it was completely cold and she didn't seem to understand why I didn't want cold duck. I didn't eat it, but she still charged me a credit for it. I also couldn't wave her down to get a drink refill. My appetizer and dessert were good though. I'm giving the restaurant another chance in Sept.

I'm afraid I haven't tried Tusker House for lunch yet, but will be eating there Sept 14th if Air Tran doesn't change my flights anymore:rolleyes: .

Another vote for FlameTree BBQ. I agree with PP that it's a very good deal for what you get.

Yak & Yeti! Went there back in April and the food was really good.

I have not been to any of the places you have mentioned, but what I can hear from this board is that Tusker House breakfast is really good! Also I heard that you can find something for everyone on the buffet so I would go with that. But another idea is what other disers said Flame Tree BBQ. It is a tradition for us to eat there every trip, the food is to die for!!!!

For now it is Flame Tree Barbecue as it is the only one we have ever eaten at (we don't like Rainforest--we have them here at home and we find them overpriced for mediocre food). We are trying Yak & Yeti for dinner this year so we will see who ends up #1 after this trip.

We love Flame Tree...We love the peaceful setting by the water. Never eaten at the other restaurants.

We really enjoy Tusker House for lunch. The food is excellent, there's a lot of variety, and the service is good. We went twice last year, and we're looking forward to going at least twice more this year. :woohoo:

With the park closing early the time of year we go, that leaves plenty of time to hop over to another park or simply go to a resort for a nice dinner.

Thanks everyone. I like Flame Tree too :thumbsup2 but am looking to have a TS at either Yak and Yeti lunch or Tusker House for either lunch or breakfast. Can't make up my mind which one would be best to try. Any ideas?
